- HHHolly HughesJan 26, 20261.0Document your receipt and signage and consider complaints with the Texas Attorney General (Consumer Protection) and the FTC when they send you a $100+ ticket for leaving a little late after you’ve paid to use to the lot. Collective action is the only way to stop these predatory and misleading practices.

We paid for two hours, but bats were "a bit late" and we were about 20 minutes late getting back to the car (one of about 5 cars remaining in the lot). They charged a $102 dollar fine for the extra 20 minutes. When I disputed the charge, they provided me with a $20 discount on the fine. $82 for the extra 20 minutes - on top of the outrageous amount for the two hours. Not a great way to treat a first-time (and likely last time!) visitor to the city of Austin and one of the big tourist locations! Poor!
