  Enterprise will send you a confirmed reservation and then ask you to “check in” for your rental, only for you to call the actual location and find out they don’t even have the car. I can understand that the local employees may be dealing with problems created by corporate, but the guy at the location was also rude and completely unhelpful. That made an already frustrating situation even worse. A “confirmed reservation” should mean the car is actually reserved. It shouldn’t mean show up and see what happens. The disconnect between Enterprise’s corporate reservation system and its individual locations is ridiculous. Customers shouldn’t have to deal with the consequences or an attitude when the company fails to provide the vehicle it confirmed.

  I had a situation where I needed a rental car while my car was being repaired next door. I was really impressed with the speed and ease of getting A rental car within moments of needing one and then extremely impressed with the ease of returning the car, moments after there was actually a mishap in the parking lot that required my damage waiver to be used. I still walked out in just a few moments. I thought that was really wonderful customer service!

  The staff here show good comportment, but they seem understaffed overall and either under or mis-informed in their partnership with Progressive. Through multiple phone calls to multiple locations, I made an accident related reservation courtesy of Progressive on behalf of the at-fault driver. The car I was given was the most basic rental, in no way adequate or equivalent to my damaged vehicle. I was told by Robert at Enterprise that this subpar rental is all Texas law guaranteed. He was wrong. My attorney had to call Progressive to secure a legitimate replacement rental from Hertz. So I’m sitting in the Enterprise parking lot, still limping from my accident, waiting for a Hertz pick-up. Also, Enterprise has no EV’s in its Austin inventory. Update: Having recently been in a high speed car accident, I will not have time to accommodate your request to reach out. I returned the vehicle this morning.
