  Needed to get my reservation transferred to this location and was on hold for 40 minutes before I hung up. It would be helpful if you would fully staff your location.

  Best place ever!! Enterprise Rent-A-Car — 816 Colorado St, Austin, TX I’ve been to this location multiple times and I keep coming back for one reason: the people. On this occasion, Ellie said she was filling in from another location and her supervisor Rick are absolutely outstanding. I’ve dealt with Rick on more occasions and No matter how busy it gets — and this location can get busy — they ALWAYS have a smile on their face and never make you feel rushed or like just another customer. They are efficient, thorough, and professional. I always feel confident that I’m going to get the car I actually asked for, in great condition and ready to go. That kind of reliability means everything when you’re renting a car. The location itself is convenient, and the vehicles are always in great shape. I won’t go anywhere else for my car rental needs in Austin. If you want to be treated right, this is the place. — you won’t be disappointed!

  I can’t believe I’m leaving a review for a car rental shop, but it was that good of an experience. 99% because of Ellie, the agent on-site who assisted me. The car was a standard issued luxury suv, clean, and fueled. But the customer service - that was exceptional. I’m pregnant and had a terrible car accident yesterday. Still frazzled today arriving to the shop, Ellie was sympathetic. She kept me in the cool AC shop while she checked all my vehicle options (admittedly, I was being particular about getting a similar vehicle to my Porsche), provided water, and made the entire process seamless. It felt like a friend helping a friend make their life a little easier. I went around 9:30am, no lines, fast service. Will 100% make this my go-to location if I ever need to rent a car again. And can only hope that Ellie will be there again!

  Editing to reply to the owner: there is no form to fill out besides a phone call and I'm not repeating that experience. It also doesn't solve the problem for the need of a car on the day I scheduled a reservation a week or more in advance. I wish I could leave a lower rating than this because I have yet to walk into this establishment because my reservation got changed without being informed. On the website it looked like they were open Memorial Day on the 25th, and my reservation was confirmed. Then I received a check-in request for Wednesday, May 20 because my reservation had changed. This was a two days before I was supposed to fly into Austin Friday the 22nd. No one bothered to inform me that my reservation had changed, no one called to let me know that the office would not be open, and the website also did not let me know that the office may be closed Memorial Day and I made sure to look very thoroughly because I know some businesses have different hours. None of that was present and it allowed me to do the booking. I needed a car for Monday and now I don't have one and it changes my entire itinerary of what I was doing for the remaining time I'm here until Tuesday morning. Really really disappointed. Customer service line treated me like trash. Said my story was a mouthful and was asking me well what can I do for you because that was a lot. They were rude the entire time over the phone, a little combative as to why I only wanted to rent it for the day from 9 to 5 because I had a flight the next day and I am in a different location where I don't need a car right now from Friday to Sunday. I am absolutely floored and extremely disappointed in this location that they couldn't even bother to call me and let me know in advance when I had made this reservation that they would be closed on Monday the 25th. And I totally respect it! I would've just greatly appreciated having some advanced notice so I can change my plans and have a back up plan.
