  Really enjoyed bringing my car in for a brake job. They didn’t hassle me for add ons, the waiting room is nice and I enjoyed my convo with the front desk. My car was fixed up and I went in my way. As it should be. They aren’t super quick with the phone updates so I had to call in to check on it a few times but I didn’t mind.

  Great and very trustworthy folks. They get the job done efficiently and keep you updated along the way. Definitely recommend.

  Seemingly apathetic about customer service. I went here for a couple years and have been able to overlook mistakes in the past, but I would rather walk through hot coals to a different mechanic than go back to them at this point. I once dropped my car off to get an oil change and asked them to take a look at the AC at the same time. They called and told me my car was ready so I picked it up and drove back to work. Later that afternoon, I got a call telling me they forgot to actually change my oil altogether. Mistakes happen, I get that, but their indifferent attitude toward customers when things don’t go smoothly or customers are frustrated is telling about the kind of service you’ll get here. Reading back through their one star reviews, it is actually shocking to me how rude their responses come across for being in a customer service industry. The customer is not always right, I get that too, but there is a complete lack of empathy or compassion toward customers who are dealing with stressful situations and are looking to experts for help. I don’t pretend to be an auto-expert, but I would hope to at least feel respected when expressing a difference in opinion or frustration when I felt like something didn’t go right. Unfortunately I did not experience that at Dave’s Since they seemed to enjoy using a quote in a snide response to another customer, here’s one from Tyra Banks for them: “It is so bad that I want to give you a zero, but that’s not possible, so I give you a one”

  Wonderful shop with wonderful people! My car was having electrical issues so I took it in to see if they could find the problem. They conducted a diagnosis and recommend I take it into a dealer instead. They did not charge me even though they spent time diagnosing it. They were very upfront and honest throughout the whole process! Thank you for all the help!!

  Dave’s refused to fix my vehicle and I’m here to give them a glowing review. My poor diesel Sprinter has endured my unschooled maintenance for over 120k. It had several oil leaks, some wiring problems, and no AC. After getting a raise, it was time to get it caught up. I heard about Dave’s from a fellow Sprinter owner who had major work done there. They did a 70 point inspection for free, pointed out several problems I wasn’t aware of, and then politely refused my business. Why? The van is an RV conversion with lots of scary-looking custom wiring, rat damage, and zip ties, and they thought it was too dangerous to take things apart. They didn’t want to leave me with an undrivable money pit by simply trying to do the work the right way. Naturally I was disappointed, but now I have a complete checklist of what needs work, and a lot of respect for a shop that placed customer service and self-respect over thousands of dollars worth of work. They even drove me back to the van a few blocks away in the Texas heat! Once I get the AC fixed, you know where I’ll be taking it to get refilled!
