- PPpotatochobitAug 5, 20262.0Do not come here for major repair work. I contacted the shop awhile ago about doing a big job. With the transmission out I asked him to price in other work. if one job is 10 hours and one job is five hours, you do not add them together for 15 hours, you are supposed to subtract the labor since you are not removing the transmission twice, it should be twelve hours. He did not understand what I was saying. I told him with everything in the engine bay out before reinstalling anything there is a TSB with an updated part to prevent leakage, I will give you the part. He said he cannot use a customer part and I told him that's fine but you will follow the TSB. He said he can only order the original parts which I doubt is true since I see aftermarket parts laying all over the shop. I straight up told him, if you are not going to follow the TSB then you are not doing the job and he said he was fine that. This is about a 3,000$ job, must be so nice to have so many oil changes to just turn customers away. If you are looking for regular maintenance this shop seems fine. If you need diagnostics or actual repair work check more than one place.
