  Lawrence and his team were absolute guardian angels today saving me and my car from a dead battery. Went above and beyond to help me out and replace my battery, all while handling an incredibly busy shop and helping out others in the same way. So grateful I came to this location and with this team! I normally hate going to car places due to my limited car knowledge, being talked down to, and typically they’re usually not a super welcoming environment but that was not the case here. Couldn’t be more thankful or have had a better experience. Thanks again so much Lawrence and team.

  Came in needing a new battery. Lily helped me SO much! She was kind, professional and super knowledgeable, taking the time to explain things in detail, and even gave me some great car battery tips! She replaced my battery herself, which made a tough morning so much easier. Thank you, Lily!

  Liliana was fantastic! She was working on another car when I drove up. When she was done she immediately assisted me. She checked my battery and it needed to be replaced. She found the one I and brought it up and installed it herself! Great work Lily!!!

  I've been shopping at Auto Zone for 30 years and today I had the most pleasant experience to date. Liliana was the sales associate and couldn't have been more helpful, patient, and kind to every customer that walked through the door. It's nice to know that there are still people like her out there!

  ★★★★★ I had an exceptional experience at the AutoZone on East 7th Street, thanks to the store manager, Leliana De Osio. I was traveling away from home to Austin from California and needed to replace a rear tail light bulb on my 2017 Kia Niro. Leliana helped me find the correct bulb that I had identified online as a possible replacement, but what really impressed me was everything she did after that. Because I was traveling, I didn’t have the tools needed to remove the cover plates and tail light housing. Rather than simply selling me a collection of tools I might never use again, Leliana told me to pull my car around in front of the store and rolled out a cart with hand tools that I could use, including a trim-removal tool. After I removed the cover plate and the rear light assembly, she even came outside herself, used a socket wrench to remove the tail light housing, and cleaned years of grime from the assembly after I opened it. She also recommended a tiny single-use packet of dielectric grease—basically the size of a takeout ketchup container—to help improve the clean connection of the bulb to the power and make the installation better. It was exactly what I needed and nothing more. The remarkable part is that I spent about $10 total. I offered her a tip and she told me to write this review so that her whole store team would benefit from the increased business. Selfless and team-oriented on top of being extremely helpful and solution-oriented!!! Had I needed to buy all the tools, it could easily have been $50 or more — taking the car to a mechanic or dealer could have cost considerably more (into the hundreds of dollars). After we finished the work, she even had me turn on the car to check that it was working. That extra level of follow-through. And, as I was checking out and paying for the 2-pack of bulbs, Leliana filled a small ziplock bag with the extra bulb, the packet with remaining dielectric grease (which she went to some trouble to seal to prevent leaks), a latex glove (because your hand oils on the bulb surface may cause it to crack when illuminated), and a paper towel. I joked that she should sell "Broken Bulb Repair Kits" as a side business as that is what is truly needed. And, remarkably, the entire experience—from walking into the store to driving away with a working tail light—took a bit less than an hour. That’s roughly the amount of time I’m accustomed to spending at a dealership just waiting for someone to diagnose a problem, before the slow process of the repair even begins. What stood out most was that Leliana was genuinely interested in helping me solve the problem, not in selling me things I didn’t need. She combined knowledge, generosity, patience, and practical hands-on help in a way that is increasingly rare in retail. This is exactly the kind of service that earns a business a loyal customer. Leliana is an outstanding manager and a tremendous representative of AutoZone. Five stars without hesitation.
