    I had bought some parts, had to return them. For a minute I thought I was going to have issues. But Manger Marycielda came and took care of it. I buy alot of parts at Autozone and was very happy with the customer experience. Thank you having car issues is bad enough then to have to worry about returns.

    When I first started out at AutoZone was in 2023 at 1604 this location as a quick learner I adapted to information and the functionality required quick, the bad & good and also that of employees. It’s come to my attention today that no one is apparently capable to 2 swap discounted items where the discount still applies. Whether incapable or incompetent or if staff just refused to meet customer’s satisfaction , so I walk out disappointed today after the basic principles of services weren’t met, and I’m told as are others discounted items can only apply if on the same transaction, even tho the item needed is also a discounted item too. As they offer a bundle deal buy 1 Gallon of motor oil , an oil filter and one either: an air filter or cabin filter for a discounted price. Being I can’t use a cabin because the location wasn’t located by the mechanics I went to the day prior, i still want to benefit from the bundle and not return the item all together but swap for the air filter as the list of discounted items allowed. However, I was told they could only return the item and I pay the difference of 6 and some change. The price amount isn’t the issue, it’s the fact that the discount wasn’t honored nor was my earned credit being staff management weren’t processing the items swap as trained, I worked at other AZ in the city were I seen a swap completed and an available amount to be paid or return to customers if their was a difference in price, Where I was also showed to cashier this way whenever I did help DIY. Multiple times after doing business here at 1604, I learn my earned credits are deducted due to the steps taken by managers, and employers today . Today I met by Lilly and a newer manager who has been being trained up front for some time now, I didn’t get his name he’s young tall slim guy. That being said train according to proper functionality that secures both customers and Auto zones data base. Lilly even began to mention how I worked there before and should know how and why that is, Mind you I worked Commercial and only helped as needed with DIY, it seemed as if she was trying to bring up my work credentials with auto zone to create an excuse to not pay me back nor correct my AZ 5 point credit where I should’ve been at 4 today. To hear her explain to the new manager and using me as her example of what not to do, as if she was in the right, was another red flag. Easily a manger discount could’ve solved the mistake, but no, they are advising not to discount loyal customers based on what I experienced today. And I mentioned that, they rejected the suggestion on how to manage for a solution, instead they informed me the system calculates the discount and if not on the same receipt, discounts don’t apply, ever. Updates are definitely required.
