SmithJul 28, 20261.0I had an full synthetic oil change on a vehicle I don't drive that often. 10 days after my visit I drive the vehicle 2 miles roundtrip and as soon as I return and park the car in my garage, I notice an oil streak down my driveway, and after looking under my car a huge puddle of oil. I called my mechanic and said not to drive it and have it towed to him, which I did. Upon inspection the oil filter had not been secured tight and I had lost an significant amount oil. Had I driven the car on a longer trip, I would have lost all of the oil and ruined my engine. I called the local number for the Valvoline on Matlock, which automatically goes to a corporate location and explained my dilemma, I was transferred to the claims department and was told I would be contacted back from the local location in 1-2 days. It has now been 8 days and not a word from Valvoline. UPDATE: I finally did get a call from the manager who talked over me and was very rude and defensive. You hear these horror stories about oil change shops and never expected it to happen to me. Very disappointed in Valvoline.
