On May 11, 2026, I went to another AutoZone store on Arbrook and Cooper. I had my battery tested, because that morning my car would not start. Luckily, I had some electrical jumper cables at home to start my car up. So, I go to this AutoZone on Arbrook to have my battery tested. The guy that tested my battery told me my battery was good, but I needed a new stater. So, on Tuesday, I go to the AutoZone on Mayfield. I came in to purchase a Starter and I did. After I purchased the starter, I go to get in my car, and it wouldn't start. Now, I'm like ok.... here we go. So, I go back in and by this time Mr. Orlando (manager) asked, "How can I help you?" I told him my car would not start and I needed a jump. we get outside and I pop my hood on my car; he attaches the jumper cables. He tells me "Try it now" I did, but it did not crank; the radio came on. Then he says, "Let me check something, your cables to your battery are loose and need tightening." Mr. Orlando tightened my cables. "That was your problem, you don't need a new starter, the cables just needed to be tightened. Whoever told you that should have known better, you don't need to go back to that AutoZone. Hold on to the starter as a precaution/safety for a couple of days, if it is still cranking up, bring the starter back and I'll give you a full refund." Well, I returned it on Thursday and got my full refund! I just want to say THANK YOU Mr. Orlando for taking the time to figure out the real problem and save me money! Need more people like you that genuinely care about their customers! Excellent customer service!!!
