  Had to walk from El Paso to cruces after being released from Peak Behavioral Health and being left by my ride, these very kind folks and a very kind lady at the counter charged my phone and took care of me. I was able to make a call and get a ride into town after a 4 hour walk. if im ever gonna buy camping gear Ill make sure to come here.

  Save yourself the headaches and avoid buying an RV here—especially if you plan on using their service department. Our experience with Camping World has been extremely disappointing from the very beginning. When we purchased our RV, we were made several promises about how it would be prepared before pickup. We were specifically told it would be washed, cleaned, and “disinfected.” When we arrived, it was dirty, dusty, smelled bad, and clearly had not been properly cleaned. We were also promised a new mattress, which had not been replaced. Only after we addressed it did they finally change it. The TV was also not working and, again, was replaced only after we pointed it out. Basically, many of the things we were promised at the time of purchase had not been done when we arrived to pick it up. Unfortunately, the walkthrough felt extremely rushed. As we were going through the RV, we were discovering problems ourselves. The attitude we received felt more like, “You already bought it; it is what it is.” We made it clear that we were not driving the RV off the lot until the issues we had identified were addressed because this was not what we had been promised. Our first trip was to Cloudcroft, New Mexico, where temperatures were cold. That is when we discovered that the furnace did not work. We brought the RV back to Camping World and explained the problem along with several other issues. The RV then remained in their service department for a while (more than a month) . We were told from the beginning that repairs could take some time, and we were completely understanding. We even told them we were in no rush because we had no trips planned and wanted them to take their time and fix everything correctly. Despite having the RV for a while , we received virtually no communication or updates. No one regularly called us to let us know what was happening. When we finally picked it up, several of the things we had discussed still did not appear to have been fixed. To give credit where it is due, they did replace the house batteries. We recently took the RV back to Cloudcroft for another trip. Thankfully, the weather was not as cold this time because, once again, the furnace did not work. After leaving the RV with their service department for months specifically expecting these issues to be addressed, finding ourselves with the exact same furnace problem was beyond frustrating. At this point, we will not be taking our RV back to Camping World. We would rather pay another company to properly diagnose and repair it. The service manager was personally very nice to us, and I have nothing negative to say about him as an individual. Unfortunately, being nice does not make up for poor communication, unfulfilled promises, and repairs that apparently were not completed correctly. We heard a lot of reassuring words, but when it came time to actually pick up the RV, the results did not match what we had been told. Buying our first RV should have been an exciting experience. Instead, it has been filled with unnecessary frustration, repeated problems, lack of communication, and disappointment. If you are considering purchasing an RV here or using their service department, save yourself the headaches and think twice. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Camping World. If I could give zero stars, I would.

  Strongly disappointed. Thursday September 10th I purchased a brand new Keystone Coleman 19R from Camping World in Anthony, Texas. I had informed everyone involved with the sale that this was my permanent home as it would be blocked up and plumbed in on a lot I rent in Las Cruces. Paid my down payment, signed all of the paperwork and “rang” the bell. Little did I know that once I rang that bell I would be cast aside. I got the trailer home without incident, parked it and performed the necessary tasks at making it a permanent residence. I am a truck driver and had to leave on a run the following day. Saturday, September 12 I notified my salesman that I was missing the bathroom vent crank for the bathroom exhaust vent and the mini blind wand. A gentleman from their parts department called me and said they would be ordered. As of today, September 28. I have not heard one word from their parts department. As I was tired of waiting on them, I went on eBay and ordered one, a used one for the bathroom and went to Walmart and bought a cheap mini blind just for the wand. On September 18, I used the shower for the first time and water was pooling up on the other side of the shower wall in the bedroom. I notified my salesman and the Service manager called me and said we would get back in touch to let me know when he would have a tech come take a look at the issue. Again, no call no show. Friday, September 25th I reached out to them once again about the shower and the service manager told me that the other service manager I originally talked to was on vacation and the ball got dropped. OK I understand that. He then told me that I would get a call and that this obviously was an urgent matter. Today is Monday the 28th and I’m still waiting for that call. I bought a brand new RV and you can’t even take a shower in it because water pools up on the other side of the wall. I guess I’m going to have to call a plumber. Be wary of the promises made by this dealership. So far zero follow through.

  WARNING TO ALL CONSUMERS; STAY AWAY FROM CAMPING WORLD! I am writing this to strongly warn anyone considering doing business with Camping World in Anthony, TX 79821. They held my brand new motorhome for an astonishing 141 days for Service, completely ruining our ownership experience. The lack of leadership and accountability at this location is staggering. The general manager Kris Pohl, is completely absent and nowhere to be found when it comes to dealing with upset customers. We were ignored for months and only received a response from the service department manager Kevin Wong after we were forced to escalate the issue and contact regional manager, Brad. The deception didn’t stop there. Brad explicitly promised us a full reimbursement of our loan payments without requiring us to sign a release – and they lied. They went back on their word and offered only a partial reimbursement, holding the money hostage, unless we signed a release of liability. It is completely dishonest and a predatory way to do business. The only saving graces of this entire establishment are our sales person, Brenda, and the service tech Justin. They are the only ones who deserve any props for their hard work. Aside from those two individuals, Camping World management team is dishonest, unresponsive, and completely untrustworthy. Take your hard earned money elsewhere and save yourself the nightmare. You have been warned!

  Jeremy Pohl was out standing we had the best purchasing experience in years also the whole team from sales service to parts even the walk through was amazing I recommend this location to anyone looking for the best buying experience😊
