    When I had an issue this company took care of me so well.... I have nothing but gratitude for this place! This last week my friend had an issue and I thought- This isn’t fair. The insurance company was obviously low balling their claim. So I asked her to take the vehicle to Terrance. Once again- Bernards saves the day! They will handle everything and my friend went from being so stressed to relived!!! If a claim doesn’t seem fair- Take it to Bernards!!!

    Didn't want to pick a star but had to, in order to write this review. Let me make a long horrific experience as short as possible, sweet and to the point! Car was damaged in auto accident 9/2018. When I say damaged it had a a small dent in passenger back door lower corner. With that being said, the window still worked and the door opened and closed with no issues. In fact, I drove it for 2 weeks after the accident waiting on ALLSTATE to call me to drop it off at Bernard's and pick up a rental. On 9/21/2018, Bernards gave me an estimate of $9,240.28 for repairs. On 9/28/18, my car was dropped off. 10/1/18 ALLSTATE wrote an estimate for $1,619.26 for repairs. It seemed to be going smooth the first few weeks into the repairs, until ALLSTATE started receiving supplement after supplement for repairs. Some of those being duplicates. So naturally they start holding off on sending payments to Bernards due to the multiple supplements received. Next thing you know I am getting a call about 2 to 3 times per week from Bernards stating payments have stopped from ALLSTATE and so they would like for me to file with MY insurance to get the rest paid for and car fixed 100%. I'll give it to them, nice try but I am not filing a claim on my insurance so you can get thousands for a dent in the door from 2 different insurance companies. As more time goes on the estimate has now jumped to $13,992.41. I call and talk to one of the owners (Terrance) and ask about the major jump in estimate. He states he does not have the original estimate (they gave me a copy of it on 9/21/2018) and if I could email or fax it to him. WOW. So needless to say I do so he can look at it and hopefully answer my question why the major jump in estimate. He never answers instead becomes very defensive (like anyone would do knowing they are being scandalous) saying they have asked me to come out there and talk with them on the options we have but I would never come out and let them explain. Well considering I am a female and have never worked in the auto collision field and never would, I figured I would not understand or be much help. After all, I choose them to fix my car on their own, without my help. Let me just mention, one reason I choose Bernards is because of their believable radio commercial."They will fight the insurance company for you, they wont let the insurance screw you around,best repairs in town" and blah blah blah. Well the day finally came 3 months later almost to the day of dropping it off in September, the car needed to be picked up they had fixed it all they could with the money they received. My car was not fixed 100% because they did not get the full $13,992.41. I would like to add, my car payoff is $25,000 and the cost for complete repair is $13,992.41. Does that not sound suspicious as hell?? After talking with Allstate about all of this mess, they tell me well we have pictures with all 4 doors off your car, windshield taken out, ect. I ask them to send me pics and they do, as Bernards couldn't send those pictures they told me because it was done on a virtual app on a cellphone. Just keeps getting better. Sure enough car is stripped down, looks like it is on an assembly line to get a full paint job minus all 4 doors. At this point everyone involved (and people I told) except Bernards are flabbergasted. So next step is call the financial institute that technically owns the car to let them know of this ordeal. Of course, they are floored as well. They tell me to contact the Texas Insurance Commission and get some advice from them. Where I was told by them to file a consumer complaint with the Texas Attorney General. I did that and submitted pics and documents, they are in the process of reviewing the information. I have also now filed a diminished value claim with ALLSTATE.
