  Not a great experience. The black lady (I did not get her name) was so rude, unhelpful and had an attitude the whole time while we were conversing. Making the switch to O’Reilly after today.

  O Riley is just a half mile down the road. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. IF you are crazy enough to go here, make sure to ask for Jeff. He is the only person that gives a crap. About 5 people walking past you with nobody saying a word at the checkout register, eventually a woman in grey came and gave me a code reader for me to scan my car myself. When I came back in Jeff was awesome and helpful, good attitude to go along with it. Parts driver recklessly had her door centimeters from my car, absolutely no help at this place. You rock Jeff!! You deserve more than you're making guaranteed!

  5/5 Stars – Exceptional Service from Lance of AutoZone in Allen! My car battery died today, and I ended up at the AutoZone in Allen, TX. I am so glad I did. I don't normally write reviews, but the exceptional customer service I received from Lance made me want to share my experience. Lance walked me through all my options for a new battery, clearly explained the costs, and answered every single question I had. He made a stressful situation incredibly easy and smooth. If you need help with your vehicle, go to this location and ask for Lance—he goes above and beyond! Thank you, Lance!

  Sometimes the universe just puts people in our path at the perfect time! Three weeks before my battery died, my ex suddenly passed away and I was responsible for handling ALL the details of everything that comes with that situation because our daughter just graduated from high school. I was able to jumpstart the car and drive it two miles to the Allen AutoZone on Main. When I walked in, a young male employee was sitting back within the aisles behind the counter, and it looked like he was liste ing to somebody. He finally got up when he saw me standing there and asked what I needed. He came out to my car and said they could replace the battery for me. I’ve got a mechanic (a former student!) and I wanted to call him for just a minute to see what he’d thought (this is the first time someone had offered to do this and I wasn’t sure if I should take them up on their offer!) so I told the guy to give me a minute and he walked back inside. When my mechanic said “absolutely!”, I walked back in the store but the guy was no where to be seen. Almost immediately, another gentleman saw me and walked toward me to ask how he could help me. The difference in attitude and tone was palpable and he quickly found the battery I needed, replaced it for me, and then proceeded to listen to me thank him but then break down when I told him why I was so grateful and stressed out. This person, Donald Bell, was literally like an ANGEL in front of me as he comforted me, expressed his condolences, and said he would pray for my family. A battery change at an inopportune time turned into a chance encounter with a man who reminded me that there are wonderful people everywhere, and I cannot thank him enough for the simple act of the car service but also for the SOUL service his compassion at that moment gave me.
