  Very slow service, entire time of a flight is less than waiting in line, could take hours to get everything finished, and this is when the reservation was in advance and all documents were on file already.

  Very disappointing experience with Enterprise/National. Customer service and the online reservation system showed that vehicles were available at this location. However, after going through multiple phone prompts just to finally speak with an employee at the actual location, I was told that they had no vehicles available and that the availability shown online or provided by customer service is not always accurate. That is a major problem. Customers should be able to rely on the company’s website and customer service when making travel plans. The local branch, online system, and customer service should all be working from the same real-time inventory information. Because of this issue, I now have to delay my travel by two additional days until a vehicle becomes available. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and disrupted my plans. For a company as large as Enterprise/National, there really should be a better system in place. If a location does not have vehicles available, the website and customer service should not tell customers otherwise. Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience.

  I had a terrible experience with National/Enterprise in Abilene, Texas. When I picked up my reserved Hyundai Sonata, the employee told me the car was ready without inspecting it with me. As soon as I got inside, I noticed an extremely strong smell of marijuana. I immediately went back into the office and reported it. The employee told me they would note it in their records. I asked for something in writing, but they refused and said, “Don’t worry, it’s in our system. You’re good to go.” Since it was Memorial Day weekend and no other cars were available except a hybrid, I had no choice but to take the vehicle. After I returned the car, I was shocked to receive a claim saying the vehicle had hail damage and that I was responsible for nearly $3,000. I strongly dispute this claim. My experience with Jenny Underwood from the damage claims department was also very disappointing. I found her communication to be rude and disrespectful instead of professional and helpful. My advice to anyone renting from National or Enterprise: always inspect the vehicle yourself, take detailed photos and videos of every side of the car before leaving the lot and again when you return it. Never rely on an employee’s verbal assurance that damage or issues have been documented. If you don’t have your own evidence, you may have a difficult time defending yourself if a claim is made later. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location. I expected honesty, professionalism, and fair treatment, but that is not what I received.
