- FLFrancita LaMottAug 25, 20261.0The reviews from before about this Flying J are absolutely true. If I could give no stars for sure they would get it. My husband & I just left here. He's a truck driver so we stopped to fuel in the tractor & to shower & get fries from Denny's. First, my husband said the fueling was fine. Then we went to shower. There was no wait so my husband paid for the shower & we went & put the code in shower room 4 & opened the door to find the floor wet, towels dirty on the floor & the shower still running, so clearly they did not clean that shower room. My husband went to get someone and ask if we could take the shower next to it, shower 5 because the door was open & was already clean, which I didn't understand. The attendant walked back there with my husband to ask someone who was cleaning the showers if we could take a different shower, the attendant was just walking into shower 15 to clean & said they were gonna give us that one. I asked "what's wrong with 5? It's already clean & I don't understand why we need to wait for you to clean 15" So they let us take 5. The water splashes & wets the whole floor no matter how carefully you shower & the faucets sprays water all out the side & top. I was so uncomfortable. I told my husband we need to stick with love's for showers. I'd rather wait at Love's. Lastly we walk down to Denny's there was no one to help so my husband & I walked to the counter up front several times to keep the bell ringing then the guy Robert E. comes out with something for a customer who was dining in. There was only 1 customer at the bar, the couple dining in & then me & my husband so there was hardly no one to wait on. So he comes up & doesn't greet us he just says what can he do for us? I asked for a menu so I could see what kind of fries they had so we picked regular fries, 2 orders. He rung it up & gave me the receipt & his exact words were " I don't know how long it's going to take to be ready, well it shouldn't be that long it's just fries but I don't know, I guess come back in 10 minutes and see if it's ready" we sat there & waited. It did take about 7-10 minutes before he brought them to us. I told my husband this is the worst truck stop I have ever been to since he has been driving & that's been years. As far as cleanliness goes & service, it was just terrible. Floors & seats were not clean in Denny's. They don't have tissue in the shower room. One roll was almost out & the other was completely out, luckily my husband & I pack our own wipes so we were good. I told my husband he needs to definitely avoid this truck stop.
- SGShawn GreenwoodAug 11, 20261.0Joke of a Flying J. 5 out of the 12 pumps work and every one of those 5 has the “void if removed or damaged” sticker removed or cut with the face barely hanging on. Can’t imagine how many people are being scammed out of this gas station.
