  Just had a GREAT experience working with Alex Sanders. No BS, no wasting our time. Went out of his way to get another vehicle over to us from a sister dealership to save us time for comparison. Have always hated going to the dealership but this was a whole different and positive experience. He even offered to drive some follow up paperwork an hour north to us. Great service!

  I recently purchased a Ford Expedition from Russell Barnett Ford of Winchester, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Alex Sanders and Josiah Jackson were outstanding from start to finish. There was absolutely no BS, no pressure, and no games—just honest, professional service. Both Alex and Josiah were extremely helpful throughout the entire process, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything went smoothly. What impressed me most was how efficient they were. This was probably the quickest and easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made at any dealership.   Whenever Im in the market for a car, I always find myself looking at google reviews before I waste my time heading over to a dealership. That being said, Im leaving this review for anyone curious if Russell Barnett Ford does good business. Bear with me, as this review is lengthy, however I believe my experience needs to be shared in its entirety and the staff at Russell Barnett deserve just 2 minutes of your time to read through this. If you have TikTok brain, scroll to last paragraph and just trust me. Over the past month, I've wasted countless hours getting drug through the mud at other dealerships. Your typical pushy and slimy sales tactics, hidden add-on fees, shady mechanic work to hide defects on the cars, etc. I finally bit the bullet and made the 3 hour drive from Atlanta, to check out a specific used truck I had been looking for. Before I even started the drive up there, I could tell this dealership was different then the rest. The salesman, Al Stidham, picked up my call answered all my questions, and took every picture I asked for, even some extras I forgot to ask for (close ups of small scuffs in paint). He purposefully went the extra mile to make sure there were no surprises after I had made the long drive over. When I got to the dealership, Al had the truck pulled out front, came out to give me the keys, and left me alone to inspect every inch of the truck at my own pace. Any maintenance questions I had about the truck, he brought out the service advisor, Jay Wooten, to help answer all the questions I had. Jay even went as far as putting the truck on the service lift to perform a detailed inspection I had requested. During the test drive, I was very keen to test the truck at highway speeds, and Al, without hesitation, took me on what might be the longest test drive I've ever been on, just to reach a highway where high speeds were attainable without breaking the law. The one concern I had was a noise we were hearing during the drive, and Al acknowledged the noise and again had the maintenance service advisor look into it. Clearly showing me they had nothing to hide. Once it came time to talk numbers. Al and the finance team were extremely laid back and made everything very clear and easy to understand. No hidden fees, any additional add-ons would be at my discretion and not mandated. They were more then fair on my trade in vehicle. Accommodating for different finance options and well equipped and experienced to handle any curveball that might come up in the closing process. Hands down the best experience I've ever had at a dealership and I plan to be a return customer whenever I find myself in the market again.

  What an experience! Drove all the way down there from Christiana after one conversation with Alex Sanders! Not only did Alex get right back to me, he was the definition of no BS. Took care of me from home and I literally just needed to show up and sign the docs. Truly effortless on my end but knew Alex was putting in endless effort on his end. He even text me to update me five minutes after hanging up. When I told him that I was in a work meeting and might not be able to answer if he called back soon with all the numbers, his response… “Easy, I can put all the numbers in a text so you can review in writing.” A short time later, text came with a great price, all the finance options I asked about, and we had a deal. I was headed there after the my meetings for the day ended. When I pulled up with my wife, the F350 was right up front, clean as could be, full tank of gas, and ready to be taken home! Walked in, did some simple id scanning and was with finance quickly. Insert Josiah Jackson who walked me through everything, got all the paperwork done, and we were just waiting for it to print out! The awesome thing was getting to chat in the short time I was there. Alex and Josiah were normal people who were asking about me, my wife, our animals, and everything in between. Not forced, not even necessary, just normal folks having a normal chat. Felt like a small town dealer but with exactly the truck and service I wanted and would have expected from the bigger dealerships, but those dealerships force it on you. Long story short, if you want a no BS experience, with guys who know what their doing, and who you actually want to get to know and hang out and chat with, do yourself a favor and talk to Alex, have an easy buying experience, and then have Josiah take care of the money. Not only did I walk away with a fancy new truck, I also got me another guy to play golf with. Truly, thanks Alex and Josiah for making our experience as good as it gets. Cheers!!
