I think I copied the previous experience but this is the new experience I went in to get my lock calibrated but here again they were very professional and did it within five minutes and sent me on my way and it was a great experience because I was stressing over making sure I did everything on time, but I had no wait time and the people in there are great

I love coming to see my extended new family for calibration. I learn something new each day and the crew is so friendly.

I have made 3 trips from Texas to TN trying to get the work done on my truck. the first time was no fault of the shop, as more work was needed and parts needed to be ordered. The second time, one of the needed parts was missing, and the work was not able to be completed, shop's fault. The third time, I texted asking for a Sun appointment, and they told me it was fine. They did NOT bother to tell me they are CLOSED on Sat & Sun. They started work on Monday morning and were not finished by the end of the day. Again, they had a wrong part, their fault again, and not able to complete the work. Then, they charged me $190 for the correct part, which they neither had nor ever gave to me. I requested a refund, and they agreed. I have not been refunded. I have called and texted many times and got no response. I just want my money back. I will not use this shop again due to all the trouble. They don’t seem competent to 1) get correct parts and do the work, 2) do the work in the timely manner estimated (couple of "hours") instead of an entire day (or more), and 3) communicate in a reasonable manner. I cannot tell how many times I called and texted to ask questions or find out when work would be done, only to be ignored completely. The real icing on the cake is being confirmed to come on a Sun when they are not even open, costing me an extra day or travel, hotel, etc. I hate to leave a bad review, but this is ridiculous. I guess I need to contact my attorney? Sad that's necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?

The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle.
