I had an extremely disappointing experience with this Enterprise location from start to finish.
I scheduled an appointment a full week in advance to meet an employee at my body shop so I could drop off my rental. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I waited 30 minutes before anyone arrived. I finally had to call the office myself, and the excuse I was given was that “no one told us you were at the body shop.” That should never have been an issue considering the appointment had been scheduled a week ahead of time.
When the employee finally arrived, he never introduced himself or even identified that he was with Enterprise. During the drive back to the office, he blasted music so loudly that it was impossible to hold a conversation or even think. To make matters worse, the music contained sexually explicit lyrics. As a woman alone in a vehicle with a stranger, this was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable. I also have sensory issues, and the excessive volume made the ride unnecessarily overwhelming.
When we arrived at the office, the lack of professionalism continued. The employee barely acknowledged me, ignored several of my questions, and generally acted as though helping a customer was an inconvenience.
Then there was the rental vehicle itself.
The car I was given was filthy. It had stains throughout the interior, visible dirt on the seats and upholstery, and smelled like someone had been smoking in it. The windshield had multiple chips and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time.
The vehicle also appeared to have been poorly maintained. It leaked oil onto my garage floor, the tires caused noticeable vibration at certain speeds, and there was existing cosmetic damage all over the vehicle that no one even attempted to inspect or document before handing me the keys.
The photos speak for themselves:
* Interior upholstery covered in stains.
* Dirty seats and armrest.
* Scratches and paint damage on multiple exterior panels.
* Windshield chips.
* Oil leaking onto my garage floor.
* Numerous pre-existing cosmetic defects that were never documented.
After reporting all of this to Enterprise’s corporate customer service, I expected someone to take ownership of the situation. Instead, I received little more than excuses from the local manager and no meaningful attempt to resolve the issues or make the experience right.
This entire experience reflected poor communication, poor customer service, inadequate vehicle inspection, inadequate cleaning, and questionable vehicle maintenance.
I expect much better from a company of Enterprise’s size and reputation. Unfortunately, this location completely failed to deliver.
EDIT:
I am not even close to interested in having any sort of manager or staff reaching out to me at this point. I will be alerting friends, family and others of how I was treated at this branch and to avoid it. If me reaching out to corporate and nothing was made right then I have zero interest in helping you make it right after the fact. The review stays and so does my opinion. Never again with this branch. So no Kim, I will not go to any site or call to complain.

This location was so quick and efficient. I had to have someone from Enterprise pick me up from an auto shop, and I had an appointment that I needed to get to directly after picking up my rental. Owen made sure I was taken care of and able to leave earlier than my designated time. He was very friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions all in record timing. It made the process completely stress-free, and I am so grateful!

In and out in under 10 minutes. Both picking up and returning. Facility is clean, new and nice. Employees were happy and helpful.
Only critique is, the place is an absolute mad house.. traffic jams, no space and high volume
My experience with Enterprise in West Nashville was extremely disappointing from start to finish. I was involved in an accident that was not my fault, yet I was still charged for expenses that I believe should have been covered through the insurance claim.
To make matters worse, the rental car I was given had a flat tire, and I had to take time out of my own schedule the very next day to get it fixed. A rental vehicle should be safe and properly inspected before being handed to a customer.
I was also charged for gas, even though I was told the rental was being handled through the insurance claim. The communication was poor, and I received conflicting information from multiple employees. No one seemed to know exactly what was going on or how to properly assist me.
Between the unexpected charges, the flat tire, and the lack of customer service, this was one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had. I would not recommend this location and will not be using Enterprise again.

1 star — and that’s generous.
I was handed a business card with ‘40% off your next rental’ handwritten on the back in exchange for a good review. I’ll pass on that and leave an honest one instead.
I went through FOUR cars over the course of this rental experience and every single one had problems.
Ford Escape — Nashville Charlotte Ave location. Poor condition. Immediately requested a swap.
Nissan Sentra — Nashville Charlotte Ave. Smelled terrible, visibly filthy, and had tires inflated to 43-46 PSI when the correct pressure is 33 PSI. I was driving my children in this car. When I got to Oklahoma the Moore location took one look at it and told me it should have never been rented out. I later found out it had previously been in a severe accident and should have been pulled from the fleet entirely.
Toyota Corolla — Oklahoma swap. Was supposed to be an upgrade. It wasn’t. Made loud boiling noises every time the engine was turned on and off. I was stuck in this car for two weeks because nobody would answer my calls, return my messages, or follow through on the six supervisor callbacks I was promised across phone calls and corporate Instagram.
Land Rover — Finally given something acceptable on my last day. The coolant light came on.
The staff at Charlotte Pike were friendly but didn’t do their jobs correctly. One gentleman at the Moore Oklahoma location was genuinely helpful. Everyone else I encountered was lazy, dismissive, and disrespectful toward someone who was already dealing with the aftermath of an accident, a concussion, and two kids in tow.
Enterprise had every opportunity to make a hard situation manageable. Instead I was ignored, given unsafe vehicles, and had a representative attempt to fraudulently charge my insurance for pre-existing damage.
Handwriting discount codes on business cards to buy good reviews won’t fix dirty cars and nonexistent customer service.
Save yourself the headache.
