  It was fine! People were friendly and the service was done in a timely manner. If you need a oil change it’s not a bad place to go.

  I went to Valvoline midday on a Wednesday for a much needed oil change. I was able to pull in with no wait time. Cheyenne went over what I wanted to get done and also went over all the available/recommended services Valvoline had to offer me. She explained all the details without any pushy sales pitch. She also told me about option for discounts on my next visit. The team worked really well together and and they had me in and out quickly. I highly recommend Cheyenne and the rest of the team to take care of your vehicle maintenance.

  I was in Murfreesboro last Tuesday evening and decided to stop here to have my oil changed because it was due. This was a terrible choice on my part and led to about $800 in repair/car rental costs. Their staff is so focused on the upsell that they don't care whether the oil they are using is the appropriate type for the car. Their staff emphasized that conventional oil would be best for my 2014 Ford Escape and my vehicle started acting up as soon as I left the location, resulting in a check engine light and 7-8 codes lighting up when investigated. An oil change with synthetic oil fixed the issue. Stay away from this location! They are a danger to your vehicle!

  This shop took advantage of someone that did not have mechanical know how to upsell them on things that were not necessary for the vehicle and stressing about their vehicle’s reliability. Look out for their inexperienced techs stating your vehicle is burning oil, your tires have low pressure, or that your battery is going bad. I checked the tire pressure for said vehicle after they visited the shop (within an hour of them declining the service) and all tires were exactly at 34 PSI per manufacturer spec. The air filter was just fine and I tested the battery and it read good as well. After the vehicle drove for a week the oil is exactly where it was previously. The sticker they placed was for only 3000 miles despite purchasing synthetic blend oil which is accepted by the industry of having a life cycle of 5000 miles or 6 months whichever comes first. Not sure if inexperienced techs spoke to them but I would recommend you go elsewhere for an oil change. It’s frustrating to see a shop take advantage of someone just because they don’t have mechanical know how.
