I’ve been a customer at this car wash since it was Mr. B’s Car Wash, and until dealing with the current manager, Chase, I’ve never had an issue with the employees or service. We had two accounts and simply needed one removed. What should have been an easy fix somehow escalated into Chase threatening to call the police. The situation didn’t start because we were being disrespectful or demanding it escalated because of his smug comments, dismissive attitude, and the way he spoke to us as though we were bothering him for asking for help. On another visit, I politely asked if we could have a one time courtesy wash without putting the membership sticker on the vehicle because we were preparing to sell the car. I showed him that we were longtime customers, our account was active, and our payments were current. Instead of trying to help or even respectfully explaining why he couldn’t, he refused and again responded with an unnecessary slick remark. We are not the type of people who go into businesses demanding special treatment or looking for problems. In fact, after being customers here for years without issues, that should say something. My issue isn’t with Take 5 or the other employees it’s specifically with Chase’s customer service and management style. A manager should know how to de-escalate simple situations, communicate respectfully, and make loyal customers feel valued. Unfortunately, our experiences with Chase have been the complete opposite. Take 5 needs to take a serious look at how this location is being managed. A simple customer-service issue should never turn into threats of calling the police because a manager doesn’t know how to communicate with customers.

2+ years ago their machine scammed me into getting a membership. When I informed the employee what happened and I wanted to cancel, he said "oh yeah. It does that sometimes. I can't cancel it right now, but try it out for the month. I won't make you put the sticker on your windshield so you can bring any car you want." Since then I have kept the membership. Mainly because I would forget to cancel (Like they hope for I'm sure), but also because it was nice to bring our 2 cars. Mind you, I bring maybe 1 car through a week, if that. So I used the membership max 3-4x a month and maybe 1x during the winter months. Yesterday I was refused service because of a "new policy by the new owners" that the tag had to be on the windshield. Apparently this was set a few months ago according to the employee when it went under new ownership. (According to him it won't be Take 5 anymore either) I've gone through my normal amount in the past few months, and this new policy has never been brought to my attention despite employees seeing me using the tag. I was told I could not go through the wash if I didn't put the sticker on my windshield. I told the guy I understand the new policy, it was the first I had heard of it, and asked if I could still go through today and I would put it on my main car at home. The guy continued to be exceptionally rude, refused to let me through, and tried to reach in the car to put the sticker on. So safe to say I made him cancel my membership on the spot. In reality, the car wash isn't that special anyways. My car always still came out with spots, windshield dirty, and minor scratches over the years. I always overlooked it for the convenience of the location to my house.

Been coming for years and used to have a subscription. Have worked in rock quarries for 7 years - truck gets dirty. That’s why I come to a car wash. And we aren’t talking coated or caked - just some grime in the wheel wells. Never had anyone say anything to me until Billy. Last time, he made a big deal but let me through. Today, Billy told me I couldn’t go through. Everyone else has let me through AT THIS LOCATION. Even a couple weeks ago. After Billy said “no,” I drove across town to the Clark location - they let me through. Billy is costing the owner sales and business.
