Until today, I’ve always had positive experiences. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle today, I discovered the air conditioning wasn’t working. I understand that things happen, so I was willing to give the employees some grace. Unfortunately, the customer service I received from the manager and the woman who checked me in was extremely disappointing. As a loyal customer, I am often upgraded to an SUV. Today, the manager told me I would have to wait because I had reserved a full-size car. I told him that wasn’t a problem. I then politely asked what type of vehicle they had available for me, and instead of answering, he responded, “I don’t know.” When I mentioned that the staff normally lets me know what vehicles are available, he replied, “Don’t you see I’m standing up here, not back there?” The response was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Rather than continue the conversation, I walked away because I knew I was becoming upset and didn’t want the situation to escalate. After being a loyal customer for so many years and renting from this location almost every month, I never expected to be treated with such disrespect. Sadly, this experience has me seriously considering taking my business elsewhere.
