  Safelite technician was prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. The entire process from contacting my insurance company to contacting Safelife was very pleasant and made me feel important to both companies.

  I canceled my appointment due to the lack of professionalism and poor communication on Safelite’s part. I had already waited an entire week for my appointment and paid nearly $1,000 in advance. Earlier in the day, the technician called and provided me with incorrect information regarding my appointment. He then showed up unexpectedly, and within roughly 15 minutes, my appointment was canceled because of the poor communication on their end. When I contacted Safelite about the situation, I was told that the technician should have texted me—as if that somehow made the situation more professional or resolved the issue. To make matters worse, I was told the next available appointment wouldn’t be for another entire week. It’s extremely inconvenient and frustrating to pay nearly $1,000 upfront, wait a week for service, and then have the appointment canceled almost immediately because of communication issues that were entirely on their end. I ultimately decided to cancel altogether and take my business elsewhere. The entire experience was unnecessarily inconvenient and, in my opinion, handled very unprofessionally.

  Everything with the possible exception of paying online was easy. For some reason, when I entered the card and tried to pay, the system hung a bit. On the day of the appointment, the installer called me ahead of time to tell me he was on his way. The appointment was scheduled for between 8-12 and he arrived at 8:30. He proceeded to remove the electronics from the windshield and then the windshield. He then installed the windshield and the electronics. After that he rolled out the alignment tool and made sure the lane assist and other electronics were working properly. He was done in about an hour and a half. I paid him the deductible.

  I had an appointment to get my windshield replaced on a 2022 Toyota Camry. They gave me a quote of $980. I made the appointment I took it in. I then left because I had another appointment somewhere else during the time that they worked on it .They replaced it And called me to say that it was ready for pick up, but there was an issue with the recalibration. They told me that they could not recalibrate it because they could not calibrate an aftermarket windshield and that I need to get a Toyota factory windshield. So now I have to take it back next week and it’s going to be an additional $500. If I would’ve known that they would not have been able to calibrate it I would not have taken it to them and taken it somewhere else that could have. Now I will be losing out on another day of work at almost $30 an hour.

  The customer service/people who work here make this otherwise mundane necessity in Memphis (loose rocks from pot holes, etc.) so enjoyable. A rarity today, the entire team from front to back is so personable, genuine, hardworking, and upfront. They are very busy daily, so dropping off is usually the best option. But if you wait you’ll be lucky enough to get to talk with Shondra at the front desk. I wish I could should out the technicians by name, but suffice to say this is the best Safelight.
