  I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at an AutoZone. Yesterday, I visited this location to purchase something as simple as brake fluid. I initially went to the Commercial counter, since that is where I usually make my purchases. When I arrived, I immediately noticed that the employee working in that area was extremely upset. He was repeatedly cursing out loud, complaining, and walking back and forth around the store. He was clearly very frustrated about something, although I had no idea what was going on. I stood directly in front of him at the Commercial counter for several minutes without being acknowledged or even asked if I needed help. Eventually, he suddenly told me, “You’re going to have to wait. The bank is here and I have to go outside,” and simply walked away, leaving me standing there without any further explanation. I wasn’t angry at that point—I was honestly more surprised that someone whose job involves dealing with customers could behave in such an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. The store wasn’t even busy; there were only two customers there, including me. After waiting, I tried to find the brake fluid myself and eventually asked another employee for help. He seemed less experienced, but at least he was trying to assist me. Unfortunately, they did not have what I needed, so after all that time, I left without being able to make my purchase. The employee from the Commercial counter eventually came back and approached us, but by then the other employee had already taken me to the correct section and we had confirmed that the product was simply unavailable. Terrible experience. I won’t specifically identify the employee here, but I strongly believe this location needs to take customer service, professionalism, and the way customers are treated much more seriously.
