  We were originally given a vehicle that had a license plate expired, that we didn’t notice until we got home. we came back to do an exchange and they made it so easy! Shout out to Alamo.

  This is 1st time I had any issues with a rental car and 1st review I’m Leaving. At pickup I got a similar vehicle to booked one for 5 day booking. After pickup here’s how it went. 2025 VW Atlas. Pickup was smooth, Price was great. Pickup at 9am (20min) then hit the road at 1030 after I picked up family and loaded SUV. The truck was not trashed but it was not cleaned for my pickup. Seemed like it was just returned (exterior was dirty and interior was dirty stains on interior, fingerprints, sand in carpet), shaking during drive (feels like needs tire or an alignment) & 6hrs into drive to SC message alert popped up that inspection due and Minimum Oil level add one quart of oil and continue drive) this tells me SUV needs oil change. I’m glad we didn’t have a breakdown out of town!

  7/2 - Going on Day 4 of no help or resolution. We’ve followed Alamo’s reply to contact their support line. Crickets. We need this escalated beyond what help line was posted. *Original review - Julia is a horrible manager to deal with. It’s impossible to get a hold of her or anyone onsite to discuss escalated matters. The phone is always off hook or unreachable. We returned our rental after an extended stay due to weather postponing our flight 3 times. Our original rental was $400 and extensions ran the charge up to $1000. Something is wrong with their system and they have now triple charged the full amount, and are arguing we still owe them money. If you want to over pay and have your card ran every two days, this is the place for you. I’ve escalated all I can and have had to report this to the BBB because this is unacceptable.

  I had a terrible experience here today. When I got to the airport to pick my vehicle up the lady at the desk told me it would cost me over $600. Where did that come from and why not have that on the reservation? I went right next to Hertz and got taken care of. Phil in the parking garage was very rude. I was told to pull down there by the lady at the desk, and then Phil told me that no personal vehicles allowed. It was terrible!

  Alamo "Skip-the-Counter" option is genius and works very well for me, no waiting in line to deal papers with representative, just go straight to the parking lot to see the Alamo's attendance with your DL then drive away, the whole process takes about 5 to 10 minutes! On the way back to return, very easy and hats off to Curtis, he's professional & cool!
