I have used this shop several times, I paid him to replace every gasket in the engine and Transmission on an old 1982 F100, he did go above what i asked and painted the engine while he had it out, but the honesty and kindness ended there. The rear main started leaking, then after that the Transmission got a leak and thats where the shadyness started. Of course it wasn't his fault, then we had the Transmission swapped out in my Son's 1994 full-size Blazer, he kept it dang near two years, he didnt do something right as per the Trans company and he destroyed the Radiator, not once, but twice. So he had to swap out all the hoses, thermostat, and water pump supposedly on his dime, well guess what, the bill went up drastically on our end. He destroyed the inside door panel and dash during this time too, and again, "not his fault"! Then we finally got it back and the Radiator leaked out and my son over heated the engine. Again sent it in and and his warranty just didnt happen to cover it. He always has an excuse to not stand by any of his work. I debated even reviewing him, but my other son just moved back from out west where he was in the service and stopped by to settle up for his brother as he was working and get it back home and he smarted off to him and he didnt even have anything to do with it, he was just paying the bill he charged for looking at it, yes he charged my son to tell him he wasn't at fault over $130.00.
I dont like bashing people trying to make an honest living, but "honest" I guess is the part missing here.
