  Our whole family entrusts Rivergate, Muffler & Auto with our vehicles. First off, this is the cleanest, most pleasant repair shop ever. I don’t mind waiting on repairs because it’s truly a pleasant environment! It’s also worth mentioning how they treat their customers - I have always felt like they are honest and considerate and never push anything unless it’s an absolute must. Cameron is always SO accommodating and takes time to spell everything out and answer my questions without making me feel silly, especially when I’m trying to describe odd car noises for him ;) Car maintenance can be painful to the pocketbook but it’s worth the peace of mind, knowing our cars are being well-cared for.

  Had back gate issues on my SUV to the point I was scared of opening it. I came in for a diagnostic, but Cameron recognized the problem immediately and went out to reset the gate for me. Done within minutes, and he said “You don’t need us today, have a good day.” They could have charged me the diagnostic fee and done the same thing, but they chose not to. More than fair, they are kind. I love this kind of local business. We are so lucky to have them!

  The service and quality is unmatched here. I love love love! These guys and gals, they literally take care of me and go above and beyond every time I’m in, and I’m in a lot lol (I buy crappy cars and they fix them perfectly) they give me the rundown and explain and show me what’s going on so there’s no surprises. They take time to properly diagnose my issues and set me on a plan to get me safely on the road. And it’s the little things they do to help me out and makes things a little more secure, they could easily charge me for but do it because they really care about my safety! So thank you a million guys!

  Probably the worst mechanic experience I’ve encountered in all my 35 years of life. My jeep had issues where it wouldn’t start on the first try. Brought it on a Thursday, told me it would be $130 for a diagnostic fee. They call me at 3PM on Friday saying they replaced my battery and cleaned the carbon out of my control throttle for a total of $900. I get to the shop to retrieve my car and worked with Cory, who I just paid $900 to and the car was doing the same thing. He told me to drive it for the weekend and bring it back on Monday. I go to leave, and my car dies in the middle of the road. I was able to get the car started again and brought it back to the shop, I spoke with Cory about putting my old battery back in since that wasn’t the issue, he said that’s not a problem we have your battery back here. One of their mechanics the young man who worked on my car didn’t even know that there was an auxiliary battery in my vehicle. They told me they would get one and call me on Monday. Fast forward to Monday I get a call from Cameron who should clearly be working in the back of the shop because he has no manners. He told me that they recycled my old battery this morning, and that it was my fault that I wasn’t clear on the fact that my start stop wasn’t working. I let him know this is unacceptable and I stated I wanted my old battery back and their miscommunication isn’t my issue. I told him I wanted to speak to the owner(whom he referenced having a conversation with first). He said “I can’t give out his number” so I told him to have him call me. Cameron calls back and says he spoke to the owner and they would just charge me for half of the auxiliary battery. I come to pick up my car, and rightfully want to test drive it before I pay anymore money. He says someone needs to come with you, treating me like I’m a criminal and going to drive off without paying. I get back in and they are charging me more than half off the battery that was agreed upon. Terrible company, terrible service. Skip this place and go somewhere better. Edit: to your response: “To your response: first of all not sure how 107.50 ends up at the total of Cameron telling me I owed $145.... The math isn't mathing on that one. I had asked Cameron to let me have your number or to have you call me and you did not do this. Weird the standard policy of a test drive didn’t occur when I picked up my car the first time…. I was also there with Cory when the technician told me it didn't have an auxiliary battery, you were not there, but thanks for trying to save face. Terrible response from a clearly uninformed owner. You never should have recycled my original battery after my discussion with Cory and the techs that night as I was very adamant about having that original one put back in. If you'd like to discuss offline the incompetence that took place that would be great. You have my number, I'm sure I'll hear from you /s.”

  This was my first time coming to this group and it won't be the last. Great experience, good people, and I was never left out of the know on what was going on with my car. Everything got done quickly and nothing happened before they talked to me first to make sure I was on board with the repairs. Had a lot going on with my car and felt like I was in good hands the whole time. The repairs did cost a pretty penny but can't expect anything less for the quality service. Good job gents! 💪
