Valvoline performed an oil change on my truck on September 27. Shortly afterward, my truck began running sluggishly and did not sound normal. On September 29, the oil warning light came on. After getting home and allowing the truck to sit for approximately 30 minutes, I checked the oil and found nothing on the dipstick. I checked it again the following morning and confirmed there was still no oil showing. A representative from the Valvoline location inspected the vehicle and confirmed that Valvoline had made a mistake. They used the wrong oil and put approximately two quarts less oil in the truck than required. Because I had driven approximately 150 miles while the truck was running poorly, I had the dealership perform a diagnostic inspection to determine whether any damage occurred. I also had to rent a vehicle so I could get to work. I contacted Valvoline Customer Service and submitted my receipts for these expenses. They refused to reimburse me and instead offered a free oil change. The dealership also recommended additional service checks to ensure there was no damage, but Valvoline denied coverage for those as well. As a result of Valvoline’s mistake, I am now facing approximately $1,000 in expenses, along with the uncertainty of whether my truck sustained any long-term damage. I do not believe I should be responsible for these costs when they resulted directly from an incorrect oil change performed by Valvoline.

The staff was amazing, customer service could not have been better. My dealership does this service plus tire rotation, air filter change included and checks all operational parts under the hood for $10 more than Valvoline. I chose this business for convenience this time but will not be doing that again as the price does not at all match the service provided. Staff onsite was amazing, cost was not.

Last time I come here. They're always so slow. Waited 45min today. Plus they wouldn't accept the $15 off coupon on their own website because they claimed their scanner wasn't connected to the right computer. They also apparently couldn't key it in manually.

I sat in my car for 15 minutes before any services underneath my car were started. I was asked to pay before they even started the oil change. Which is never happened to me before. They did not show me my air filter or my oil filter. I am hoping that they really did change my oil. The dipstick showed it was full, so I am hopeful. But I have never had an oil change there when I was not shown my filters.
