- HHHeatherMar 22, 20261.0We had a horrible experience with the attendant today. When we pulled in and said we just wanted the basic car wash he told us that for .50 more we could get a membership. We told him no thanks and we just wanted the basic. He starts telling us how the basic won’t get your car cleaned. That they design it not to and that the basic is terrible and it’s not worth it and we needed the upgrade. We said no thanks just the basic. The guy absolutely would not listen to us. He kept arguing with me and my husband. I tried to tell him that the aggressive selling was not going to win him any customers and that all we wanted was a simple car wash. My husband told him that we’d just leave if he wouldn’t give us the basic. Then the attendant responded “tough- you’re blocked in now” and walked off. Another attendant (maybe a manager) came over and we told him what happened, he apologized profusely and said that was not acceptable and he’d talk to the other guy. They lost us as a customer and we won’t ever go back there. You don’t up sell by telling customers how bad your service is and by being an aggressive jerk.
