  Went in on an appointment for a new set of tires. Bill the fellow taking care of customers was excellent. He has a knack for taking with people. So down to earth in communicating with everyone I saw there. The loss of the 5th star is done because I had it noted to check a tire sensor I knew was bad. It was overlooked. I will make future appointment to fix that issue. I use chapman hwy area for all my business errands that I need done. Thought id try them.out seeing is how im always passing the building. Glad I did I feel.they are knowledgeable in the needs of our cars. Thanks BILL and rest of Tire Discounters.

  Waste of time. They make appointments that they don’t keep…. Not even close. On top of that, they don’t care. No communication, no updates, you just sit there. After 1.5 hours (past my appointment time) of watching my lonely truck in the parking lot, I stood at the service counter with both guys ignoring me. Finally, one of them asked what I needed. When I tried to say that my appointment was 1.5 hours ago, he talked over me and asked which vehicle. He truly couldn’t care less. No apology for the huge waste of time, no explanation. Customer service training would go a long way with this place. If you enjoy sitting in a mechanic shop for hours with no communication, this is your place. Read the other bad reviews. Most of them repeat the same problem.

  Experienced issues with two tires on our way to TN. Booked appt for 10am on Tuesday for this location. Got a phone call at 8:01am on Monday confirming the appt and letting me know that the tires were in stock at a local warehouse and would be there late Monday. Let the m know we were on vacation and had no other transportation so we would be waiting on the truck. Was told “We will get you fixed up quick and get you out”. Arrived for appt at 9:50am and was told they would text/call when the truck was finished. We walked next door to Starbuck’s…and after 2.5 hours, we hadn’t heard anything. Walked back to the shop and the truck hadn’t even been pulled inside yet. When we inquired about it, we were told “it’s a waiter so we have all day”! I assured him that not only did I indicate we were going to wait on it when I made the appt, but I also told him when we spoke on the phone Monday. He denied ever talking to me, even when I showed him the incoming call log on my phone. I also showed him the confirmation text and email that I got for my appointment. He still insisted it was a waiter but said they’d “get on it”. The truck sat in the lot for another 45 minutes before even being brought in. At 2:45, the truck was finally being finished up. FIVE HOURS! There was nothing to diagnose, nothing to secure parts for, just changing tires. We watched a couple people come and go while we waited….why even have an appointment?! While checking out, I noticed that there was a picture of our truck and the license plate on his personal phone!! I asked why he had a picture of our license plate on his phone and he said he is supposed to check all vehicles in our in the parking area and document the year/make/model/plate number and mileage, but he just takes pictures and enters it later! I told him to delete the photo, please and he said “I will”. I said “And how do I know that? Please delete it.” He picked up his phone, closed the screen and put it in his pocket and said “There.” COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Luckily (hopefully!) we will never have a need for tire service in the Knoxville area again, but if we do, we will certainly find a different shop!

  Went in with a 430 appointment for an oil change & tire rotation. Left at 655 & they didn't rotate my tires BUT said they did. And a manager signed off saying they did.I lost my trust in this company. BEWARE!!

  Took vehicle in to get new tires put on, left it with them all day and never received a call, so I called them. Was told it was ready, which was a lityle annoying that we didn’t get a call, but whatever. We went to pick it up and was told they mistook our vehicle for another, was told they couldn’t find keys for wheel locks, said s I’d have to get some from dealership, I called the dealership and was told they quit putting wheel locks on vehicles and that the tire place should be able to break it off. Went back and forth with I’m guessing the manager of the tire place and said they ultimately couldn’t do it that I’d have to reschedule. Mind you they had our vehicle all day and never once called us about any issue. I went to a different tire shop who had me 4 new tires put on within 45 mins and laughed at this place who couldn’t get wheel locks off. Don’t take your vehicle here, take it elsewhere.
