  I went to “big o tires” at 0800 cause it’s close to my house for a nail in my tire, sat there for 30 min for the guy to come out and say the air compressor isn’t working.. went and saw Larry at tire discounters and they got me in and out/patched in less than 15 minutes. No charge, just left em a tip. 10/10

  I called to make an appointment. I was told online is the best place to book the appointment due to deals they’re offering if you book online. I asked the associate if the website was accurate that it said they didn’t have the tires I wanted in stock but I could order them (this was yesterday) and make the appointment for today. He said yes it was accurate and they would have the tires tomorrow. Fast forward to today, I pack my two year old up and make the drive over. This takes almost 2 hours of my time and I’m rushing because I don’t want to be late and I’m trying to squeeze this in before work. I show up and the associate I believe his name was Jon and was a manager, said we do not have those tires but I can order this set that’s comparable for this afternoon(more expensive). I had a feeling that would happen and should have called beforehand but thought to myself as I was getting my son ready that they would call me if they didn’t have my tires as I had an appointment and that’s just common courtesy customer service so I continued getting ready and made the drive only to show up and my intuition was spot on despite what the associate said yesterday that it was accurate and they would have the tires I requested. The manager said all I can do is say I’m sorry. What boggles me is no one checked to make sure they had the tires for my appointment scheduled and couldn’t pick up the phone to call me and let me know? I was told the regional manager would give me a call but it’s now mid afternoon and I’ve yet to hear anything from anyone. If my tire had blown what would have been the outcome? Just pay more? I try to be pre emptive with these kinds of things so luckily I’m not in a worse off situation. But I feel this company is acting like they will sell you the west lake brand tire(cheapest but actually still a good tire) they’re hoping you come in and just buy a more expensive tire because you NEED it now. This seems to be the case and I should report this to the news to be investigated because it’s just very shady to me.

  got new tires mounted on 'Motegi MR145' wheels for a 2015 VW Golf, it could not have been a better experience: i forgot the centering rings, they took me home to get them ; my lugs wouldn't fit the new wheels, they had the specialty [spline] ones needed on hand. everything done and out de door. good WiFi and bottled water.

  I have been going to this place for years for all of my vehicles. Yesterday, I went to get an oil change and was told the price of oil had doubled, and my oil change would be $200 instead of $100. I paid them because I needed it done immediately. However, oil has not doubled, and every other oil change place is still under $100 for an oil change. So, good luck with $200 oil changes, but I will never be coming back for anything.
