  DON'T SELECT SAFELITE FOR YOUR CRACKED WINDSHIELD REPAIR! The post repair is larger (cracks) then the pre repair. Safelite stated it is classified as a "failed repair". Safelite offered to install a new windshield minus the cost of repair. The original stone chip was under an 3/4 of an inch diameter. Review Safelite's add which states the repaired cracks will hardly be noticeable post repair. This is not true I am now staring at a so called repaired crack in the middle of my windshield Everytime I drive!

  The technician did a good job with the installation, but the windshield was damaged upon arrival. It had a chip about the diameter of a quarter in the lower corner, a scratch across the top where the camera is, and distortion in the center due to a manufacturing defect. The wipers installed were not the same brand so they do not match in appearance, and the technician damaged the driver's side wiper arm while removing the original wiper blade. The technician stated the Safelite local office would be contacting me regarding replacement of the defective windshield. It has been a week and I have not been contacted.

  For days leading up the appointment, I received text messages, phone calls, and emails repeatedly asking me to confirm my appointment. I did this. Then, 15 minutes before I was supposed to arrive for my appointment, they call and cancel. If you value your time, you might want to look elsewhere, because they don’t seem to value your time. (Update…I went to AAA Auto Glass on Papermill. They were great and got things fixed up quickly, without an appointment!)

  Dewan and Doug did an excellent job replacing my jeep windshield! They let me know what time they would be here from Knoxville and were 10 minutes early. The job was done very quickly and professionally. I'm super pleased! Thank you!

  While I would use safelight again due to the ease of scheduling and the necessity of their service I would like to mention that your car could be damaged during the service. I have before and after pictures and my car incurred damage during my service call. While removing the windshield the technician dented my car roof at the top of the windshield. These dents were not there prior to service and a car should not incite more damage while being serviced for a replacement windshield. I also had some damage to the interior of my vehicle. If you look at the photos in the before and after it’s clear the damage was not there prior to service but was there afterward.
