- JLJustin Lee1 day ago1.0Had to do business with the 9139 Middlebrook pike location yesterday. I found the battery needed for my fiancé's Honda CRV online So I called ahead to see if it was in stock. I asked the gentleman on the phone if they had a memory saver which is required for most modern-day Honda battery swaps at that location And he informed me that they DID NOT but had the battery in stock. Luckily, I have a friend who is a mechanic And let me borrow a memory saver to do the battery swap myself Once I arrived at the store to purchase the battery. We arrived at 6:20 PM on 9/2/2026 where we where greeted by a young gentleman with dark hair and glasses That politely ask us what we needed and I informed him That I knew of the battery and proceeded to get it off of the rack. When I didn't see it on the rack, another young gentleman with dark hair, came out of nowhere And asked me, what battery size i needed? when I told him the battery type, he scoffed at me and asked" if I was about to get rid of the vehicle?." I replied, no, that we just needed the cheapest battery to get the vehicle going and then he scoffed once again and replied, "well, it's your vehicle." once he returned my battery to the counter, where the gentleman with glasses was ready to ring me out. He proceeds to throw a pack of terminal protectors at the battery, stating that I needed these, i replied that I already had some Along with terminal grease for my battery install, and then he snached them back and shook his head. The young man with the glasses rang us out and offered to carry the battery to the vehicle. I didn't get the name of the guy that came out of the back But I don't appreciate him talking down to us just because we were buying the cheaper battery. Our receipt has the name of "Derek C" at 6:24pm As the person who rang us out. I will definitely be taking my automotive needs elsewhere in the future.

The customer service has always been excellent, and they have repeatedly gone above and beyond my expectations. However, I wanted to take the time to leave a review specifically because of the outstanding service I received from Ian during my recent visit. I came in with a battery that was still under warranty but was having trouble holding a charge. Ian went above and beyond to help me. He thoroughly tested the battery, cleaned the connections, and even checked my alternator to make sure everything was functioning properly. Throughout the entire process, he was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I understood what was going on. Ian also helped me navigate my warranty options and find the best solution for my situation as a customer. I never felt rushed or pressured. He took the time to explain my options and made sure I was comfortable with the decision. Customer service like this deserves to be recognized. Ian is a fantastic representative of Advanced Auto Parts, and his willingness to take the extra time to help a customer really stood out to me. Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
