Tonight was the first time I have been in this store & NONE of the associates were willing to help me at all until I asked & when I bought windshield wipers (which I assumed would be out on for free since the HUGE window sign states that) were left on the counter & I was told to have a good night. Yes it was sprinkling a little when I went in but when walking out it was doing nothing. Sadly this type of customer service is why as a female I hate going into places like this. I feel like they think I know nothing about cars when (no I don't know as much as I could) I know enough to get myself by. I can actually change a tire along with a few other things 🙃 but they made me feel like I wasn't worth their time to help.

What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
