  My finace needed a last minute rental to go to Knoxville. Enterprise was very patient about everything! The employee named Tyler was AMAZING & nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL!! My fiancé lost his wallet while in Knoxville therefore he didn't have cash or a single card on him to pay for gas to fill the tank back up to Full. As anyone knows when you rent a vehicle, you are supposed to put the gas back where it was when you rented it. If you dont the rental company will charge $10 - $11 dollars a gallon to fill the tank up. Tyler was extremely understanding & even acted very quickly! He called a supervisor explained the issue at hand & then proceeded to say they would only charge $40 or $50. That is amazing! This was a GMC Sierra truck with a massive gas tank. My fiancé recommended Tyler get a raise for his exceptional service he provided. I hope he gets that raise, he definitely deserves it. Enterprise is lucky to havr such a wonderful employee & we were lucky tk have such wonderful quick service!! Thank you Enterprise & thank you Tyler!!

  I accidentally went to this Johnson City Enterprise instead of Elizabethton after insurance arranged for me to do a pick up. The gentleman who helped me was super sweet about it, and changed the reservation so I could leave with a cute little Bronco. Thank you!

  Never have I ever experienced worst customer service than from Johnson City, Tennessee branch of Enterprise and roadside assistance! My rental car malfunctioned on the interstate and would not accelerate over 60 mph. I had just been in a vehicle accident, so you can imagine how panicked and stressed out I was over this situation. I called the Johnson City branch and the manager promised that they could deliver a new rental car to my location. He then passed me off to roadside assistance. Roadside assistance after hearing that the car malfunctioned encouraged me to get back on the road and go to the nearest open enterprise location, which was over an hour and a half by interstate. When I refused that option and explained my situation to the rep including that I felt unsafe to get back on the interstate, the representative then went on to suggest that I drive to a jeep dealership and have them run a diagnostic test. I was in the middle of nowhere. He then suggested that they send a tow truck and then find an Uber ride to take me over an hour and a half to the enterprise at BNA airport. When I tearfully told him why that was not an acceptable option for me, the representative said, “ We’re going around in circles, I’m going to release your call.” And HUNG UP ON ME…LEAVING ME STRANDED AND WITH NO SOLUTION! I tried calling the Johnson City branch back to explain what it just happened and it took me over 15 minutes to get somebody to answer the phone during operating hours. I called customer service to report roadside assistance and was told that they would follow up with me in 24 to 48 hours, they did not! I then called customer service back again and they told me that they had no notes that I had ever called in and complained. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough… The second rental car that I got from them also ended up having an issue. Went to fill the car up with gas and the gas door wouldn’t not open! You can imagine my emotional distress when I thought that I was going be stranded at a gas station. Luckily, a stranger was able to use a screwdriver to pry it open. When I called the Brentwood, TN branch, they encouraged to call Johnson City branch since that’s where the rental originated. The Johnson City branch representative, laughed at the fact that I was calling them. Seriously, do these guys know anything about customer service? Why would you make light of something that was stressful for one of your customers when your company was at fault? I ended up having to call the Brentwood branch back and they didn’t have any rental cars available, but they were at least willing to pry the door open and use tape to try to keep it open so that I could put gas in it for the duration of my rental. I’ve used the Brentwood, TN branch for rental cars before and they’ve always had great customer service, which is still true today! But the Johnson City branch and roadside assistance for enterprise is a completely different story! It was a very stressful and emotionally distressing experience!
