- CGCameron GradyAug 14, 20261.0Beware non-oem vehicles. Corporate policy for altered vehicles was updated in late 2023 per my research. This company used to be my go-to recommendation for friends and contacts with responsibly altered vehicles. But no more. Brought in a vehicle that had been lowered 1.25" inches from original and was told the policy is now written that they will not cover their multi-year alignment warranty on altered vehicles. The only saving grace was the associate I worked with at the front counter was very kind and apologetic for the confusion. They need to state this much more clearly in their documentation and not bury it in their Ts & Cs. Because, I understand that people probably took advantage of the warranty and created the need for this rule. But to not make it extremely clear up front caused me to needlessly waste my time today. You have to dig into the fine print of their terms, and even then it only states "may have an additional charge per policy alignment redemption..." Nothing about denying an alignment entirely. I will not be back - even for my standard vehicles. Discount Tire offers alignments now anyway. **EDIT** - Went to Discount Tire right after leaving this store, paid $98, was done in an hour, received excellent service and an alignment report. Car drives beautifully. No fuss, no issues.
