  Giving a 1 star as I wasn't happy about my experience. Called the yesterday for a 9am appointment, and was told that I would have to wait an hour after 9am for the oil change to be done. No problem there. But I get there today about 10 minutes before my appointment, and the guy says hey we're going to be able to get you in about 9:30am but it will still be about an hour you'll have to wait making it about 10:30am at the earliest before it's be done. There is the problem. I work 3rd shift, and scheduled it that way because I needed (and was willing to wait the hour) to get back home to sleep before my night shift again tonight. My issue is why allow for an appointment if you aren't going to honor it. Or at least if you do have walkins let those people wait till after scheduled appointments. Completely frustrated with them as I've been a loyal customer since moving to Gallatin last summer. May eventually go back, but maybe not if this is the way they do business. I know it's only 30 minutes more, but honor your appointments scheduled for those of us that just might have limited time during the day. Also, on a separate note they also didn't reset from my last appointment my tire rotation indicator in my car. Making it seem a little fishy. Most people wouldn't know that it doesn't need to be rotated that early again. Almost like they were trying to hit me up for another service way to soon. Didn't get it done this time will look for another place.

  The service at tuffy is amazing took me a long time to find a good auto service since I moved here 6 years ago I feel valued as there customer and the prices I feel are great.

  My experience at your shop was not the best They took the valve covers off tires and didn’t even put them back on and I had just got this one day ago terrible and slow service. Tire torque didn’t happen which was fine but not even getting valve covers back terrible. Thanks

  Came here for some simple work and found out these are no mechanics! They can change you brakes and oil but they knew less than I did and when guy was telling me my transfer case was the problem and I told him I don't have a transfer case I took my vehicle and he said I do!!!?!?! and will not let someone who is less knowledgeable than a 25 year plumber/ pipefitter about vehicles touch mine. I came for a professional and got a quick oil change . My rear end is full of air!!!! Incompetent kid did work and a zesty guy that has never touched a wrench talked to me like he knew what he was doing!!!😅🤣 Don't come here with a legit problem because they are qualified to change tire and oil!!!

  We had used Tuffy Tire & Auto in Panama City Beach, FL on a hotrod trip, and were extremely satisfied with the service and pricing to help us out of a jam so our vacation wouldn't be ruined. So when a new Tuffy Tire & Auto opened in Gallatin, TN, we decided to take our Hyundai Santa Fe there for oil changes and routine maintenance. The owner visited with me, shared his excitement with opening in Gallatin, and said they wanted to offer great customer service, that they had seen lacking at other places. I agreed completely, and was so pleased with their honesty, thoroughness and courtesy to me. There had been a previous issue with which oil my car used (it's a turbo - takes 0W20, not 5W30), and another place had to drain the incorrect oil and refill correctly, as did a Hyundai dealership. Tony, the owner, researched this with Valvoline and confirmed that I was correct - the 0W20 was the oil my engine requires. He made a note in my customer record, to make sure that it's done correctly in the future. Our neighbor has used them for front end work also. Great customer service, great people, clean waiting area & restrooms, fair pricing...highly recommend Tuffy!
