Even while busy, he remained friendly, professional, and made customers feel welcome. His attitude really stood out and made the experience much better. Pilot is lucky to have someone like Anthony!

- NSNina SarafinaMay 7, 20261.005/05/26 shutdown 5pm no one said anything about where I was parked until 11pm!!! So first excuse your blocking the lane second excuse your blocking a fire lane that is none existent… long story short police was called to ask me to move fine done & done nope!!! Typically around that time parking is scarce so I just move & sit up front the police didn’t leave then there was an issue with that next came you can’t block the other drivers in. I explained hey not blocking them in waiting on another driver to hopefully head out & about to reach out to my dispatch. Now they want to trespass me 🤯 asked for my id & for me to step out I’m like wow wait what for trespass!?!?!? & in this all of what 5minute time span another driver was heading out I’m like look at that perfect this is what I was trying to explain. I stand a better chance just waiting around than leaving out. Man I asked the officer for his name like I’ll give you my id but I stepping out. Why did I say that lol now this baby talking about he’s going to detain me & what not I’m like yeah imma need a white shirt here I guess it’s just a supervisor so I’m like okay fine get somebody here. Listen I don’t know what them folks in the store said and to be honest I think that was the issue because the officer just kept asking me did I speak with anyone inside and thankfully I actually didn’t!!! Corporate you hire folks to do a job an they need to do it but this was extremely unnecessary. I’ve parked up way worse at other truck stops & you know what happens worse case scenario I’ll know I’m actually in the way & just get on my way. However, that is not the case here & would like to have the situation looked into further because this could’ve been handled very differently. I wasn’t blocking anything also 5pm to 11pm by 11:30pm-iish someone headed out opening up parking. The photo shows the distance/drive space behind/by where I was parked there is no yellow marking noting no parking or fire lane at all. Thankfully Loves to the rescue I was able to get there & actually found a spot & the way these trucks are parked up is/can be a huge inconvenience but one thing about Loves is they understand and respect what drivers have going on being out here on this road. This is the first time I’ve actually had an incident with a pilot/flying j & I wasn’t parked up crazy.
