  I went to AutoZone to purchase a battery for my daughter’s car. Before getting to the store, I had to jump-start her vehicle so we could drive there and make sure we purchased the correct battery. When checking out, I asked the associate if he could assist us with installing the battery. He explained that there were only two employees working and that they were unable to perform battery installations outside of the store at that time, but that they could assist us the following day. We understood and accepted that. What bothered me, however, was that the same associate offered to carry the battery outside for us. If he was able to take the battery outside, I naturally assumed he might be able to offer some type of assistance, especially after I explained that we were two women who were trying to get the vehicle started again so we could safely make it back home. Unfortunately, after we returned to the vehicle, I struggled to jump-start the car again while the employees stood inside the store watching through the window. No one came outside to check on us, offer assistance, or even ask if we were okay. I completely understand staffing limitations and company policies. What I don’t understand is the lack of basic customer service and common courtesy. We weren’t asking anyone to break policy. We simply needed a little assistance in a situation where we were clearly struggling to get the vehicle started. Sometimes it’s not about what you can or cannot do it’s about how you treat people. A simple offer to help, check on us, or even acknowledge that we were having trouble would have made a huge difference. I left disappointed, not because the battery installation couldn’t be done that day, but because of the way the situation was handled. Customer service should still mean something, especially when a customer is standing outside your store struggling to get home.

  I visited this AutoZone for advice on reattaching my rearview mirror. The staff recommended a Permatex adhesive. However, the instructions clearly stated it wouldn’t work for plastic mounts. When I realized it wasn’t right, I tried to return it minutes later, but they refused since it was opened. I was sold a product that wasn’t suitable for my situation, and I just want others to be aware: double-check what’s recommended, as the staff didn’t fully understand the repair need.

  I am writing this to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at this location. As a frequent customer, I am appalled by the treatment I experienced today from the store manager, Anthony L. I visited the store to address a faulty part I had previously purchased from AutoZone. Instead of providing professional assistance, Anthony was immediately dismissive and rude. He accused me of bringing in a part from a junkyard and flatly refused to honor the service. The situation escalated when he told both me and my dog to "get the hell out" of his store, causing a scene in front of multiple guests. This experience was incredibly upsetting and caused me a great deal of distress. A car breaking down in the middle of the night due to a faulty part is already a high-stress situation; to be met with such a lack of empathy and blatant disrespect is unacceptable. After speaking with staff at a different location, I was told that this type of behavior from this manager is a known issue. I will no longer be shopping at this location and hope that corporate takes the necessary steps to address this management style. No customer should ever be treated this way.
