  The rental process was easy and cost was fair in my opinion. I was very nervous renting a moving truck and driving 600 miles since I have seen so many on the side of the road. So with that in mind, I definitely wanted to rent a diesel. That may not have made a difference but in my mind it. Anyway, process was easy and the truck made the trip with no issues. Now, the reason I’m giving a 4-star rather than a 5-star is because the limitation of the trucks capacity to a dangerous level in my opinion. I was driving through the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and if you’ve been through there, you know how steep the hills and ridges and mountains can be. Any incline at all and I would lose about 10 mph per 200 feet due to how governed the motor was. Naturally, now everyone behind me is doing everything they can to get around me. I felt very unsafe as people were getting impatient with how slow I was moving. It will not let you go above 10mph over speed limit or above 70mph. I would try to get momentum going down hill so I wouldn’t lose as much speed going back up hill but my efforts were unsuccessful due to how governed the motor was. It has a freaking Cummins in it. I know how much power these motors have. I would have been better to load the Penske truck and tow it with my 2019 Ram 3500. If the motor hadn’t have been as governed as it was, it would be a 5-Star rating. I was passed by 2 U-Haul 26 foot gas trucks and a large Budget truck as well. I know most people renting those trucks aren’t used to driving anything bigger than a Honda Civic but come on Penske.

  Happy with the place. Staff was good and friendly, truck wasnt to shabby. Drove great. Forget the dolly at the load loacation and talked to a guy when i dropped the truck. Had no issues with me stopping by late night dropping it off. All round great place.

  I helped my brother in law move and he rented a 16 foot truck, which I drove for him. Great, friendly service and the best rental truck I have ever driven. Truck was almost new, clean and a pleasure to drive. I highly recommend this place.

  Horrible service waited 3 hours to get truck after driving 40 mins to come get it when they could have called and informed us it was late. Never received anything in compensation for the inconvenience not even a apology.
