  Bought an item from the store. The product was not working, so I went back inside and asked the three guys standing behind the counter talking if any of them could come check it out. All three said no. As I turned towards the doors to go back outside unassisted, Justin Mensi entered the store. That’s where everything changed. He said, “cmon man let’s check it out!” It ended up being a defective product which he switched out and got everything to work in just minutes, all with an amazing attitude. That is a guy you want on your team. Autozone give Justin a Raise or Promotion ASAP

  I can’t speak highly enough of the AutoZone team in Collierville. I first went to the AutoZone location in Germantown, and they wouldn’t even look at the 12V battery in my Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The Collierville team, however, followed all of the instructions carefully and changed it quickly, even though there were several detailed steps involved. The parts manager was especially helpful, kind, and respectful. He walked me through each battery option and made recommendations based not just on price, but also on quality. Highly recommend this location! I am only sad I didn’t write down his name!

  If you are a single woman, do not come here. The employee representative has a serious price gouging issue. When I first came in for an oil change and two tires, I was quoted $499. When I came back for a simple tune-up, I was told it would be $148. However, when I returned yesterday, I was suddenly quoted $1,500, which is outrageous for a tune-up on a 2015 Beetle. He never clearly explained the cost of the spark plugs—likely because he knew they wouldn’t add up to that price. Instead, he tried to upsell a fuel system cleaning for $774. Again, I only came in for a basic tune-up. I later went to AutoZone in Collierville, where a representative named Caleb told me the parts for a tune-up would cost about $85 plus labor, and he even helped me find a discount. Do not go to Firestone. They take advantage of women who may not be familiar with car maintenance. If you do go, make sure you bring someone experienced with vehicles, or you may end up overpaying for basic services like tires and tune-ups.
