I have been a customer at the Keith st location in Cleveland, TN since it first opened up as Surfs Up car wash. It has rapidly declined in service since Whistle Stop took over. Today there were no towels available in the towel bins at the vacuum/cleaning stations. None of the stations. This happens ALOT. Went inside and was directed to a stack of towels on the counter by an employee who stated that because there were only 2 people working they could not service the cleaning stations. I assume maybe this is because of safety reasons, however, this assumption lost its value as the second employee was visible sitting in the office on his cell phone with ear buds in. And/or perhaps the second employee is present to assist people at the check in kiosk. Nonetheless, if 2 employees are required at the car wash entry at all times, either hire another employee - which I understand is a significant challenge these days - or temporarily shut down the wash and stock the cleaning stations. It took me 2 minutes to grab a stack of towels and quickly stock a few in each of the holders on one side of the car wash. Additionally, the vacuums on one whole side of the car wash have been nonfunctional for at least a month now Lastly, the vacuum/cleaning stations are always nasty with trash and dirt and debris all over the ground. So after you’ve vacuumed the car - when to vacuums are available and/or working - you wind up tracking dirt etc back into your clean car. I do not want to switch car washes as the Keith St location is very convenient but I may be forced to if the service and conditions don’t improve soon.

Apparently they only care to serve members. Membership shouldn't be sold in line in front of other customers if its a 10 minute process. Staff was not professional when I told them too much of my time had veen been wasted and I no longer needed a wash.

The problem with this place is you buy a package at one price and then it goes up after the first month. Which is cool if they tell you. But they don't always do so. The other problem is when you need to cancel your membership they make it extremely difficult. You can't get anyone on the phone, you leave messages and no one ever calls you back. This is done on purpose and by design. Unless you want to get gashed every month for services you may no longer receive, stay away

vacuums were a major disappointment. Several of them were literally falling apart, and some were missing the end pieces entirely, which made them difficult to use. Another issue was the parking spaces—they were extremely small. While vacuuming, we had to hold our doors against our bodies just to avoid hitting the cars next to us, which made the whole experience uncomfortable and frustrating. Overall, the wash was okay, but the poor condition of the vacuums and the tight parking setup really took away from the experience.
