We came in early Saturday morning knowing exactly what we wanted as we found it online, we were heading to Atlanta to look at other Wagoneers but decided to give it a try.
I feel as though it is our own fault for letting it get this far because when we pulled up (the guy knew we were coming as my husband had already been in contact) the hood was popped and the battery was dead. No big deal, I’m sure it happens. They had a hard time getting it going but the car fax showed the battery had just been replaced. So we keep going with the process.
After doing the numbers on our trade in, we finally get it close to the price we want to pay/get for the truck we are trading. By this point we have spent all day here going back and forth. FINALLY we sign the papers, buy the warranty, get handed the keys to leave. GREAT, I got the car I have been wanting and didn’t have to go to Atlanta. I’m happy.
Well no sooner than I get to my exit (so from Cleveland to Ringgold, GA) the check engine light comes on. We immediately pull into an auto store to find out what code is being thrown & it is a code for the engine oil pressure control circuit- which is something that has to be fixed immediately and it cannot be driven or it could mess up other components of the car. We turn back around to take it back to the dealership because who in their right minds would pay $55,000 for a car they cannot drive no more than 45 minutes before there are already problems.
The dealership immediately gave us our truck back and called off the whole deal- AS THEY SHOULD- but now I am back to square one and wasted an entire day when I could of went to Atlanta like I planned and found a dependable Wagoneer. I really hope they do not put this one back on the lot for someone else to purchase when it is obviously not dependable. There is no way the code just started being thrown for this, the code was more than likely there & deleted.
I say all this to say, if you are not mechanically inclined and know about cars yourself you will get screwed over & waste your time. My husband knew more about the car than anyone we dealt with all day. So please do business with them cautiously.
Not to mention we were being told it was being cleaned, and we get in the car and the third row cup holders had some kind of melted GUNK all in it still. I digress.
This was a 2023 Jeep Wagoneer.
Good from the start.
I was really ahead of schedule and showed up an hour early. I was expecting to wait until my start time an hour later but they took me in anyway.
My car was taken care of in less than an hour and they sent me on my way.
Everybody that works there is super cool and they even tolerated my corny sense of humor.

I would not recommend the service department at Don Ledford.
I took my 2015 GMC Yukon in for a transmission replacement through my ALFA extended powertrain warranty. At first, I was told I would have to pay around $550 just for the dealership to remove the transmission pan and send photos to the warranty company before the repair could even be approved. My understanding of my warranty was that I was responsible for only a $100 deductible on covered repairs. In the end, my out-of-pocket cost was $619, and I never received a clear explanation for the additional charges.
The dealership kept my vehicle for three weeks. Before taking it in, I had owned it for two years and had never had a check engine light. When I arrived to pick it up, the check engine light was on due to an O2 sensor code. I questioned why this suddenly appeared immediately after the transmission replacement, but I was told it was simply because of the age and mileage of the vehicle. They then quoted me an additional $552 to replace the O2 sensor.
I paid the $619 so I could get my vehicle back, but after driving it for just one day, a “Service Trailer Brake System” warning appeared, and I also noticed what seems to be an exhaust leak. I was later told the exhaust gasket was no good.
I understand that older vehicles can develop problems over time, but having multiple new issues appear immediately after a major repair—and feeling that my concerns were dismissed—left me with very little confidence in the service I received. I was disappointed with the communication, the unexpected costs, and the overall experience.

We had a terrible experience here. I called for an appt for a non emergency issue with my car. I expressed that it wasn’t urgent and we could schedule at their convenience. They gave me an appt for the following week. When I go to drop it off they tell me they are “really backed up” and won’t even scan it for 3-4 days. I said no problem I can reschedule for another time. When I bring it back the following week, they say the same thing again. Three appts they tell me the same thing each time. Why do they think anyone can leave their car there for 5 days just for them to get around to it when they feel like it?!? If I make an appt for a specific day I expect them to get to it that day or the next….i will not be returning to this dealership for my next car purchase just from the experience I have had from their repair dept.
