Battery tester not working- sends me to auto zone to get it tested then come back to claim warranty 2. When I come back to claim warranty they can’t process it in the system due a system error even though battery is clearly within warranty period. 3. Won’t give me a replacement battery because system does not work and asks me to try another “Advance Auto” Should have done what is right by the customer regardless of system limitations and just set me up with a battery. Went to other advance auto and that’s exactly what they did even if system had problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
