  Absolute negligence and a severe safety hazard. After getting my oil changed at this Dover Road location, a tech claimed my skid plate was "bent" but assured me it was secure. Minutes after pulling onto the highway, the entire skid plate dropped out from under my truck while I was driving.I had to turn around and return, where it took them an additional 45 minutes to finally secure it with the bolts—which they should have done correctly in the first place. The "bent" claim was clearly a fabrication to cover up lazy work. They put my safety at risk on the road. Avoid this location if you care about the safety of your vehicle.

  Always love going to Valvoline. I can get service wherever I go and they have all the times I have serviced my car with them. Staff is always polite, respectful and knowledgeable!! Great service, I have been here several times!!

  My husbands car was running perfectly fine before bringing it here for an oil change. We live less than a mile away, so he drove straight home afterward. The next day, he got in the car and immediately got a low oil pressure warning. He brought it back to this location, where the car then wouldn’t start. The battery had never given us any issues prior to this, but they told him he needed a new battery and charged him $350 for it. Once they got the car started again, the check engine light was on with nine different codes, which they did absolutely nothing to diagnose or address. They told him the car wasn’t losing oil, but after checking it ourselves, we discovered that during the oil change they failed to reinstall the oil filter cap center stem/standpipe. We had to purchase and install a new one ourselves, and once we did, the oil pressure issue immediately resolved. The car is still showing a check engine light and codes. None of these issues—including any battery problems, low oil pressure warning, check engine light, or these codes—were present before bringing the car here. Everything started immediately after their oil change, yet they failed to identify the missing part, acknowledge their mistake, or do anything to correct the problems that followed.

  I'm a repeat customer. This location is nearby and they have done work on a couple of my vehicles. The staff are very helpful. I get all routine maintenance for my vehicles done here. I just got a new van and I'll be up there again when I need my next oil change.

  Stopped in for my regular oil change at my favorite Valvoline location today. I knew that I also needed a headlight Replaced. They did not have the bulb needed, but ordered it and kept me waiting no longer than 10 extra minutes! I really appreciated their customer service as always at this location in Clarksville. There are several to choose from, but I will go out of my way to come here.
