  easy pick up, easy drop off, competitively priced, vehicle request was honored....overall best vehicle rental experience ive ever had.

  We've used Alamo numerous times in the past without much hassle. However we called to confirm on our last trip that we had a pickup window of x amount. We got disconnected briefly due to our area and cell coverage. Within a few moments, I had received an email that our reservation was canceled. Called back to the representative we spoke with and after 30 minutes there was nothing they could do and would not honor our reservation/price we made 4 months prior.

  Wasn't able to get my car because they won't take debit cards. Wanted to put a " hold" of $400 on a credit card. Hubby had to be present to use his credit card. Guy was nice, though.

  We rented from Alamo for the first time and have used Enterprise previously and have had great experiences. We scheduled to pick the car at 9am and were told that there was a 45 minute wait. We got on the road and six hours into our trip we had a flat tire. We were on a country road in IN and tried to call roadside assistance, but the lady was rude and hung up. We decided to try to fix the tire ourselves and just put the spare on and get to the nearest exit. We opened up the trunk and there was no spare. We managed to get to the closest exit and contacted Alamo again. This time we were attended with a caring person, who offered to arrange a tow truck to pick up the car and also an Uber to take us to the Indianapolis airport to pick up another vehicle. It all sounded good and promising. We received text messages that tow trucks were on their way and would arrive in 45 minutes, and then a cancellation message, and then another tow truck was dispatched with another 45 minute wait. By this time it was starting to get dark and we felt a bit stranded in an unknown place with nothing in sight other than the gas station we were at. I called Alamo again and told them we had been waiting for two hours and there was no tow truck in sight and we also received another text message that the request had been completed and wanted to know our experience. I asked Alamo to send us an uber to take us to our hotel and I also found out that there was an Enterprise office very close to the hotel and decided that in the morning we could work something out with them. It was 9pm and definitely too late to try to get to the airport and figure out a vehicle with the risk of them not having a vehicle. The agent agreed and said she would place the car in recovery and we could leave it there and just take the keys and turn them into the Enterprise office. The uber arrived and truly he was a godsend! He drove us to our hotel, which was an hour away. The next morning , I contacted Enterprise and explained our situation and Bryiana and George were very gracious and understanding. They brought a vehicle to us and we handed over the keys from the other vehicle to them, even though it had not been picked up. The agent from the call center said we needed to call the local branch where we picked up the car initially and they would decide if we could even get another car. We did that, but also later found out that the local branch has no phone and that is why we were just placed on hold and then disconnected. Thankfully, Enterprise was kind and gracious and worked with us so we could be on our way to my dad’s memorial service. We returned home and turned in the car and talked to Alec the manager and explained our situation and all that we had encountered. He was apologetic and offered to discount our rental. We were very pleased with the local branches that we dealt with in TN and IN, the issue we had was with the outsourcing and agents we talked to who really could not assist us and though perhaps they were doing their job, they are just reading a script in another country. Word to the wise, always check and see if there is a spare tire in the rental, apparently, they don’t always come with one, which is very dangerous for customers. We will chose Alamo/Enterprise again, but will definitely be asking more questions to ensure that we do not encounter these issues again. I am sharing this in hopes that it will be helpful and also for the rental company to step up their training with outsourced calls.

  I was scammed because they provide me a car in bad condition, and when I report it they only play with my time and cancelled my reservation at the second day of my 8 days of my rental and they keep all the money of my full reservation they they towed the car at the second day leaving alone in a rural area with any assistance, they still not responding and not refunding my money because I was charged for 8 days of retal and I have a car in bad condition for only two days, and also they send me an extra charges to my credit card like "add ons". Costumer service is a joke they only transfer my calls or leave on hold or disconnect it. This is a real nightmare
