They do a great job here. Nice, well kept, quiet facility. 1st time back at the cabins in three years -we've been here previously 8-9 times. There's a reason we keep returning.
We left a pair of glasses behind and they mailed them back to us.
We say: Check them out.
This is the first time in almost 20 years I’ve not stayed at Eagles. Too expensive and the cabins haven’t been updated in years.
I rented a double decker pontoon. These used to have grills and chairs. No more. The floors are peeling. All this for over $450 a day. A half day is $350. Boats used to be around $220 a day, and they were nice. You can’t reserve at the marina, you have to call Safe Harbor. Everything has gone down hill the past few years. Makes me sad.
From the water it appeared that almost half the cabins were vacant on an August weekend. Hopefully Eagles can come under new non-corporate management soon.

Very disappointed this year. Been coming for 3 years, location is great, love proximity of cabins to the lake. However, the cabins are in horrendous condition and dock from cabins to boat is very unsafe, part of it is underwater and someone is going to get seriously hurt or a child could slip and fall to be swept away, NOT SAFE!!! Mice in the cabins was terrible, not just one mouse, it was infested to where we saw them daily. Grass is not mowed, we ended up mowing ourselves with a mower one of the employees brought us from their own home. Floor boards in cabins are weak, feel like we could fall through. We rented 8 cabins, so it wasn't just one cabin with problems, they all had problems. Lack of maintenance and upkeep is next to nothing. In the 3 years, we hoped to see improvements but have only seen deterioration. So sad, it's a great location and a great lake. Eagle Cove by Safe Harbor is NOT RECOMMENDED. Hopefully someone will put some work into the cabins and return them to suitable to rent.

Thank you!! A lot of improvements over our last visit. We love the resort and the cabin and visitor dock refurbishments.
we got littlefoot cabin 3 and it had a good view of the lake along with the forest. i love this place!! we came in april so the bugs (stinkbugs and centipedes) were okay, they didn’t bother much and usually died pretty fast. we stayed for 3 nights: played on the playground, volley ball net, jacuzzied on the first day. kayaked the second day and attempted to rent a boat and communication was very good. third day we went to the cordell hull museum and explored around parks. the kitchen was very nice, loved the provided book that guides you where to go. area is very well maintained. a great vacation spot :)
