- SPSherry pullum3 days ago1.0I went in for an oil change. When they opened the hood to check my fluid levels, they immediately removed the radiator cap. I saw steam and water spewing. There were no issues when I drove up. Later that afternoon, my A/C was fine, then it got warm (90 plus degree day). Then it was cool again. The next day I was driving around again and it started over-heating. I was in a good position to stop for 10 min then drove to have it looked at by someone other than Valvoline. They ran tests and determined that Valvoline NEVER refilled it. It was just a bit low. I’m no mechanic but I know better than to open a radiator cap when the car has been running and if something leaks out, it needs to be refilled. I think I’ll go elsewhere.
