  Drove out here for a car wash 17 min before close and they already had everything closed up. Disappointing

  This machine just flat out doesn't dispense enough cleaning product. It is the saddest Zipps I visit. It cleans my car a little but it doesn't get the job done. The membership is worth it at every other one i've been to, but this location has a sad machine.

  The Zips in Arlington is atrocious. We’ve been customers for almost 4 years (because it’s the only one close to home) and always aim to go to the Lakeland or other Memphis locations when able/convenient. This Arlington location is in a constant state of disrepair and the problems never seem to get fixed. For example, the hanging mops (2nd set) have been inoperable for over a year…the right side tire/baseboard sprayer has been inop for almost 2 years…the rinse portion of the wash is inadequate and always leaves an abundance of soap on your car when you exit (the side window sprayers are misaligned). Also, as of this writing the majority of the vacuums aren’t working and there are no longer spray bottles available for use with their provided microfiber rags when drying your car. Lastly, half the time I go to get my car washed the employees have placed cones in front of the entrance blocking you from using the wash. This happens often and never seems to be for a valid reason. This is unacceptable when I’m paying for a membership. They also routinely don’t stay open for their advertised hours, often closing 30 min to an hour early so they can go home at closing time. Also unacceptable. Your hours are “hours of operation” and your customers have an expectation they can wash their car during those hours. We have busy lives and often plan our drive to/from work based on the expectation we can get our car washed during you advertised hours. As nice as the workers are, they are often not under supervision are left to their own devices when operating this location (which leads to the random closings and early closings). The bigger problem seems to be a lack of Zips’ concern for providing a quality and functional experience for it’s loyal customers in Arlington. The workers are nice and friendly, but when questioned about the overall condition and disrepair of the facility they always say the company won’t fix the problems- seems to be mismanagement from whomever is responsible for “managing” this location. I think the best solution to the Arlington location’s problems would be some healthy competition from another carwash company that would either encourage a better product/experience or put this Zips location out of business. I sincerely hope someone at Zips in a position to implement changes to this Arlington location is reading, as their is no official way to formally report grievances with their services. If a Zips higher up IS reading, please take your car through this location and make your own judgement - I think you’ll agree it’s an embarrassment to your company image. Also just noticed Zips has replied to almost every negative review on here (all pointing out the same issues) saying they will check with the team in Arlington to see what they can do to improve etc, but the problems never get fixed (same response from the “owner” account for the last few years). Obviously they’re not too concerned.
