Traveling from NC and had an issue with slide out not working properly. Sean new or predicament and promised to try and get us fixed in a day. Team delivered on getting us repaired in a few hours and Sean helped us file a warranty claim to recoup some of the cost. Can’t recommend this team enough and very thankful for their great service.

We are extremely disappointed with our experience at Camping World after purchasing a brand new 45-foot fifth wheel. On the day of pickup, we immediately identified several warranty issues and were assured we could begin the warranty process there and complete the work in the state we were moving to. We made it very clear we were leaving on a tight timeline and relied on the information we were given. After arriving in our new state, we discovered that Camping World had already submitted the warranty claim to Forest River and received payment for work they reported as completed — work that was never actually done. Because of this, the new service location forced us to start the entire process over from scratch, which was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. To make matters worse, the repair approach we are now being offered is completely different and far below expectations. Instead of replacing damaged parts, they want to simply add screws and silicone and call it fixed. That is not the level of service anyone should expect when purchasing a brand new unit. Our most recent experience really summed everything up. A service tech named Josh came out, started a conversation, took a couple photos, and then literally walked back into the building and left us standing in the parking lot. We waited over 30 minutes and he never came back out. Now it’s been several days and we still haven’t received a single call. Talk about being left stranded. Communication with staff has been extremely difficult overall. We often feel rushed, interrupted, and not allowed to fully explain the situation, which has made an already stressful process even worse. This entire experience has felt inconsistent, unreliable, and unprofessional. For such a major purchase, we expected much better service and accountability. Rather than continuing to jump through hoops with this big-name company, we ended up working with Don Nichols, The RV Mobile Doc, a nationally certified RV technician and inspector who has been incredibly efficient, helpful, and straightforward. He was very familiar with situations like this and went the extra mile to clearly explain what actually needs to be done without making us jump through fiery hoops. When in doubt, call Don — we wish we had done that from the start.

We bought a new camper here, had a few problems but everyone was so helpful and made it an overall wonderful experience.

I want to provide as honest of a review as possible because during my experience, there were great parts and terrible parts. First. My salesman was great. He showed us exactly what we were looking for, helped us through the process, and though he was a little pushy, he offered us incentives to help meet numbers which was kind and we planned on going with our chosen camper anyways. The maintenance team was the other amazing part. They were so helpful and walked us through absolutely everything to ensure we were comfortable as this was our first camper. Then there was the admin side. We were asked to come in at 5:30 to finalize paperwork. We sat and waited for over an hour and I had to ask to be seen sooner. They were short staffed which I understand but they told us to come in at that time. When they finally did get us in, the person showing the paperwork, clearly didn’t know what he was doing and was not used to this side of everything. He said things like “I think this paper is for…” and consistently had someone else come in and answer questions. We had very little confidence. This is supposed to be an exciting purchase and we left feeling uneasy. We were told they would finish the paperwork and send the title to the county. I had to call multiple times to see where is was and was told it would be in the mail “the next day”. That never happened and we are less than 2 weeks out from the 45 day limit to get titles transferred. The person doing the transfers wouldn’t take my calls and I had to drive out there to get the paperwork as I clearly couldn’t trust it would get in the mail. The experience felt very much like “incentivize to sell and then barely care about you from here on out” (except for the maintenance crew). I would recommend camper world for their stock and maintenance but not their admin staff.

They have a lot of variety. But if you have an issue on a camper you just bought 4 days ago, they will tell you to go to a mechanic. Lame !!! Do Not Recommend
