  We went to the Bar for dinner. I ordered the Turkey melt and my husband ordered the nachos. We each had a cocktaiI while we waited. I finally had to ask if our food was ready because it had been about 40 minutes, and I said, "It seems like a long time to wait for nachos." The guy working finally said he would go check on it and bring it to us when it's ready. He did bring our food but, my "melt" didn't even have any cheese on it and only a couple of pieces of that thin sliced packaged turkey. The nachos looked like it was made by a preschooler who got the ingredients from a 7-11. When we left we went to the truckstop store and I pointed out the pre-made turkey sandwich in there. It had 3x the meat and had cheese on it too. I should have just made us food in the truck. I had better nacho ingedients than the restaurant. There were other truck drivers getting ready to order food. I really should have warned them. So sorry! We wont be back.

  Spotless restrooms and showers, huge parking spots with lots of room, damn good restaurant, nice staff and $.75 per gallon cheaper that any other in the state. I mean... well done people. We'll done.

  We play darts every Sunday, and this is the third time we haven't had any service. The red head lady working today never said hello, didnt even come to our table to see if we would like anything. Other people came in and she was at their table with seconds taking their orders and talking with them. We have been there since 8:45 and nothing, I waited until now to write a review and the second lady that came didnt even talk to us. The red head lady was up there talking shit about us. Its not our fault she doesn't like her job or money. If its that bad she needs a new one. Also order food and drinks from somewhere else and brought them in cause thats how bad she didnt care.

  On May 30, 2026 around 8:45PM, I visited a Pilot Flying J location in Rapid City, South Dakota, to fuel my truck. Inside, at the counter, I had to wait a long time, as the staff were just sitting and chatting. They took over half an hour just to count the money. I lost crucial time, which I needed, since my load must be delivered urgently by tomorrow. It’s already difficult to reach the destination from here. In the end, I wonder who the manager of this store is. The employees seem like they are just showing up, spending the hours, and collecting their pay, instead of actually working. These employees need a serious improvement in their dedication. And, the employees should avoid having long personal conversations with drivers, because in this kind of busy environment, everyone has to get to their destination quickly. Personal chats should be done at another time.Thank you
