  Cris T was awesome. We were stranded 300mi from home and 700mi from our destination. Helped me narrow down the problem and sent me to a good mechanic. Seriously grateful from someone knowledgeable and professional....rare these days. Just wow.

  Autozone on Mt.Rushmore rd has subpar staffing. I went in to acquire a tool that was on the AutoZone website as in stock. When I got in the store, the manager said he knew what I was talking about, and it was a discontinued tool. He quickly looked through a single box of items and said it was in another box, trying to tell me they only had a rental tool. He asked me what the tool number was , and I had to ask why he himself doesn't look it up on their computers. He finally looked it up to see it was, in fact, a tool that was not discontinued and said they stocked. He said they didn't have any in stock as it was a part of a new plan-o-gram. Rather than immediately going to the computer him or the employee were next to and looking it up, they both tried to rely on me to provide all information to them when they couldnhave easily looked up a part descriptionrather than turning a one to two min conversationinyo a 5 min plus arguement over what i was looking for with lack of wanting to help. The customer service and communication with this store, in particular, is the worst in Rapid City of all parts store.

  I was surprised with all the knowledge they had normally when you go to an Auto Zone you somtimes know more than the people who work there but this place has people who have knowledge on parts and cars I love going back to this one.
