  Had an appointment at 9am did not leave until after 10am almost 10:30AM but there was car come in after me and the one Tech they had he stop working on my car and works on this guy car and they want to get an attitude with me and park my car like get out of here...One Tech is all they had is what was told to me but I got there about 10min to 9am me and one other lady that was it .All I got was a tire rotation and tire check and stood there for over an hour and then they serviced someone who came after me and I had a 9AM appointment.Never again.I had just done a 12hr shift and was ready to go home.I asked several times to give me my car and kept getting big you next,Oh he almost finished until I go I side and see what's really going on.smh bad service.

  I made a reservation for an oil change and was told it would take approximately 1.5 hours. I came back after 1 hour and 20 minutes, and they hadn’t even started. They then told me I would have to wait another hour. I took my keys and left. I simply can’t afford to spend 2.5 hours waiting for an oil change. Very disappointing experience. $130 for oil change btw. The price is higher that in other shops

  Disappointed with the service and care for my car. I'm sharing the recent experience that I had at the shop on Angus St in Summerville so they can improve their customer service. Walking in the door to drop my car off I was not greeted until I spoke to the guy at the counter. I was told that it would be about an hour to change two tire, one car was in a bay getting worked on. It was quiet when I dropped it off, no customers waiting. After my car sat for an hour in the same spot that I left it in, I asked when my car would be worked on. I did make an appointment and it was past my appointment time. When the work was completed and my vehicle was handed back to me the tech who did the work was very friendly and apologized for the long wait. Unfortunately, my white leather seats had black grease/dirt on them. I asked the gentleman at the front desk if they used seat covers, and was told that they were out, and had some on order. I then asked for a clean rag to clean it, and after several minutes of trying to find something he gave up, and started another task. I asked who was in charge, and he stated that he was. He's the assistant manager (James) another gentleman in the office apologized and offered hand wipes or a paper towel. I used a wet paper towel to clean it until I could clean it properly. James needs more training, he acted more like a bad receptionist than an assistant manager. Don't treat your customers like they are ruining your day, just for asking for supplies to clean up your shops mess.

  I had a fantastic experience at Mavis Tires for a recent tire replacement! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, transparent, and completely stress-free. ​A huge shoutout to James and Ramell for providing top-tier customer service. They were both professional, welcoming, and communicative about what needed to be done, giving me total peace of mind. The tire installation and balancing were done quickly and with great attention to detail, and the car drives like a dream now. ​It’s rare to find an auto shop that combines honest service, fair pricing, and great turnaround time, but James and Ramell knocked it out of the park. I’ll definitely be returning for future maintenance—highly recommend this shop!

  I booked a 10:00 appointment to have two tires replaced on my wife's car at the Summerville (Angus Dr) Mavis Tire. When I checked in, the rep told me he'd give me a call or I could wait (I had my 3-year-old son with me loaded down with a backpack, tablet, etc. I was clearly going to wait. I asked for a time estimate and told him I wouldn't hold him to it and he said "1.5-2 hours since they had 2 techs working on multiple jobs and there were a couple people ahead of me." I thought that was strange since I had an appointment. While waiting, I heard two other customers complaining about booking an appointment online and then having to wait so long. One, in particular, was very upset and seemed to draw a Manager's attention after complaining for some time. Finally, after 2 hours of waiting, I walked up front again and 3 employees were standing around the register chatting and laughing. I looked in the parking lot and my car had not been moved. Two hours after my scheduled appointment - no apology, no updates, no concern. I gathered my son's things and walked back up front. Now a 4th employee was standing at the register, also chatting and laughing. They all looked at me and no one acknowledged me. After an awkward moment, one of them asked how they could help and I asked for my keys. I walked out and made sure to tell a customer walking in that she should consider going somewhere else. No questions, no apologies, no attempt to right the wrong. I do take some responsibility for the situation. One of my friends had a bad experience at Mavis and made it clear to me how horrible they are. I also had a bad experience at the Trolley Rd location 7-8 years ago when Mavis bought the shop we used to frequent. Even though I knew all that, I was dumb enough to try giving them one more shot. Don't be like me, just go somewhere else. For the record, we've had great luck with local Discount Tire stores - unfortunately, they didn't have a time that worked for our schedule this time. I highly recommend them to anyone considering Mavis.
